5 GTA 6 theories that are too ridiculous to be true

Although Rockstar Games hasn't revealed much about their upcoming game, several GTA 6 theories have already begun popping up, some of which seem too absurd. As expected, all of these are speculative, since these aren't related to what was disclosed by the 2022 leaks.

Only one official trailer has been released so far, but that hasn't stopped fans from coming up with their own theories about the game. Some include Jason being an undercover cop, the white bikini girl in the trailer being Lucia, and even some wild speculation about the trailer 2 release date.

With all this in mind, here are five of the most absurd GTA 6 theories brought forward so far.

The wildest and most unbelievable GTA 6 theories

1) Game ends with Jason or Lucia dying

One of the GTA 6 theories that came out after the trailer was released suggests that the game ends with either Jason or Lucia dying. This theory probably began after YouTuber TeaserPlay uploaded the above video, which is entirely a speculative one. Now, Rockstar is known to have such endings in their games, as seen in Grand Theft Auto 4 and 5, and even Red Dead Redemption 2.

Two of the three GTA 5 endings feature one of the playable characters dying. As such, some fans have speculated how Grand Theft Auto 6 might feature two endings, with players getting to choose between Jason or Lucia. However, this feels a bit cliche at this point and might not be true.

2) Jason is an undercover cop

Ever since the GTA 6 trailer came out, some fans have claimed that Jason is an undercover cop, which has to be one of the wildest GTA 6 theories to date. Some have justified this claim by stating that the upcoming game will include this major plot twist to keep the story from becoming predictable. One of the most popular reasons why the undercover theory seemed believable is that Jason was allegedly found to be wearing his watch on the inside of his wrist.

That said, this is completely false, and what many thought was the watch face was merely the watch clasp reflecting the background light. As such, this theory seems quite absurd at the moment.

3) White bikini girl is Lucia

There has been intense debate about the identity of the white bikini girl seen in the trailer. Many claimed that it was Lucia, drawing parallels between her moles, skin tone, and so on. However, just because the trailer focuses on a female character doesn't mean that it's Lucia. The Grand Theft Auto series is renowned for its "cover girls," many of whom don't even appear in the game.

The white bikini girl could simply be the "cover girl" for the upcoming game. Given that Lucia's nose is significantly shorter, the white bikini girl can't be her. As such, we can add this one to the list of GTA 6 theories that are most likely incorrect.

4) Cuba

The Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer featured many scenes from Leonida, the state based on Florida where the game is set. The furthest point in the map seems to be a region based on Key West, which the GTA 6 mapping project also agrees on. Now, some have speculated that having the Florida Keys means that the game might also feature Cuba.

This originally stems from a much older rumor which claimed that Cuba and parts of South America could be visited in the game. While that seems highly unlikely now, some fans have faith that Cuba will be featured in the upcoming game. However, just like the South America rumor, this is one of those GTA 6 theories we can put to rest.

5) Trailer 2 release date theories

There have been many GTA 6 theories regarding the upcoming trailer's release date, and many of these are wild. It's understandable that fans are getting anxious about the second trailer since it's been more than six months since the first trailer came out. However, speculations about the release date all seem far-fetched.

The latest theory is that the release date was revealed in the recent GTA Online update trailer. The license plate on the Faggio Pizza Boy apparently reveals the date to be October 4. As expected, this theory is too far-fetched and unlikely to be true.
