5 GTA characters that we may never see again

Rockstar Games has created hundreds of GTA characters across various titles. While the studio sometimes brings older characters to newer titles, others get lost in the crowd. The divide between 2D, 3D, and HD Universes also limits which characters will make their return in the future. As the series is currently running on the HD Universe, the 2D and 3D Universe characters may never be seen in the future.

This article lists five GTA characters that we may never see again in any Grand Theft Auto series games.

5 GTA characters that Rockstar Games may never bring back again in the future

1) Yusuf Amir

Yusuf Amir is one of the most hilarious characters in the Grand Theft Auto series who took players into a frenzy. Rockstar introduced him in The Ballad of Gay Tony and later brought him to Grand Theft Auto Online in December 2023. The popular GTA character excited the veteran players once again when his return was announced.

However, since Rockstar Games has already brought him in the current multiplayer game, we may never see him in Grand Theft Auto 6 or any other titles in the future. Still, his short-time presence was worth it in GTA Online and many new players got to know about him.

2) Roman Bellic

Roman Bellic is highly unlikely to return to the series ever again as his death remains determinant in Grand Theft Auto 4. However, if fans get control of the Grand Theft Auto franchise, they will surely bring back the beloved GTA character. One of the endings in the 2008 title results in Roman Bellic’s death, while in the other one, he remains alive.

Rockstar Games has yet to clarify which fate is canon for the popular GTA character. Since the studio has never done it in the past, Grand Theft Auto 4’s ending is also likely to be a mystery forever. Hence, we may never see Roman again.

3) Lamar Davis

Lamar Davis is wildly popular in the series as he delivers some of the hardest lines in Grand Theft Auto 5 Story Mode. Due to his popularity, Rockstar Games already included him on three different occasions: initial introduction in Grand Theft Auto 5 and brought back twice in Grand Theft Auto Online.

As a result, likely, we may never see the popular GTA character in the future again. Lamar Davis has many unfinished plots that make him worthy to get included in Grand Theft Auto 6. However, Rockstar is very strict in bringing back characters.

4) Ken Rosenberg

The re-introduction of Ken Rosenberg can be one of the Vice City Easter eggs in Grand Theft Auto 6. However, the fan-favorite GTA character belongs to the 3D Universe of the series. Since Rockstar does not mix up between the universes, we may never see Ken in Vice City again.

Moreover, Ken was already a part of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and was mentioned in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories. Therefore, his physical reappearance is out of the question at the moment. However, the developer should include indirect references to him in Grand Theft Auto 6.

5) Wu Zi Mu

Wu Zi Mu is one of the most interesting GTA characters from the 3D Universe. He is an ally of Carl Jonson and helps him tackle some of the most hated characters in San Andreas. While he is still alive in the 2004 title, Rockstar never brought him back in the series to date.

It's been already two decades and the series has shifted to the HD Universe. Therefore, Wu Zi Mu’s return in the future may not be possible.
