Among the things Grand Theft Auto fans are excited about when it comes to the series' next entry is its multiplayer, possibly titled GTA 6 Online. While it is yet to be officially announced, it is expected to an improvement over GTA 5's multiplayer. One way Rockstar Games could improve it is by enhancing the quality of vehicles that NPCs drive in traffic and letting players steal and keep them for free.
Additionally, GTA Online vehicles that don't offer a lot of features should also be made available for free if they return in the long-awaited installment's online mode. Let's take a look at five GTA Online vehicles that should be free in GTA 6 Online.
Note - None of the vehicles mentioned below are confirmed to be free in GTA 6 yet. This article is subjective and only reflects the writer's opinions.
Grotti Cheetah Classic and other GTA Online vehicles that should be free in GTA 6 Online
1) Vapid Winky
The Vapid Winky debuted in GTA Online with The Cayo Perico Heist DLC in December 2020. It is an All-Wheel-Drive car with five gears and three seats but is incredibly slow and not of any use competitively.
Nevertheless, the Winky's unique design, seemingly based on the Willys MB and Ford GPW, makes a case for its return in GTA 6 Online. If that happens, players shouldn't be made to pay any money for the ride and should be allowed to keep it for free.
2) Truffade Nero
The Truffade Nero is a GTA Online Super Car that has been in the game since December 2016. It boasts a sleek build, likely inspired by the Bugatti Chiron, and can hit a top speed of 126.50 mph (203.58 km/h) after full upgradation, according to Broughy1322 (popular GTA Online YouTuber)'s performance tests.
The Truffade Nero costs $1,440,000 in GTA Online, but since it only offers speed, Rockstar Games should consider making it a vehicle driven by NPCs in GTA 6 Online, letting players keep it for free. However, they should still be able to charge a hefty amount to convert it into the Nero Custom.
3) Grotti Cheetah Classic
The Grotti Cheetah Classic is a confirmed returning vehicle in GTA 6 as it appeared in the game's first official trailer. It was also available in GTA Vice City's traffic. Since Vice City is returning in the GTA 6 map, once again making the car available for free in traffic shouldn't be much of an issue.
The Cheetah Classic offers a good top speed, 120.25 mph (193.52 km/h), but that alone isn't worth $865,000 (its cost in GTA Online). Therefore, players should be allowed to claim the vehicle for free in GTA 6 Online.
4) Pegassi Infernus Classic
The Pegassi Infernus Classic is yet to be confirmed for GTA 6. However, it would be a great fit for the game's story and online modes since it also appeared in GTA Vice City, like the Cheetah Classic. That being said, it offers a lower top speed in GTA Online and costs more.
The Infernus Classic doesn't offer any other utility either, which is why it would be better if it's available for free in GTA 6 Online if it returns.
5) Pfister Comet
The Pfister Comet has been a part of many games in the GTA series. It also has many variants available in GTA Online like the Comet Safari, Comet S2, S2 Cabrio, and Comet Retro Custom, some of which were seen in the GTA 6 trailer.
The standard Pfister Comet is expected to return in the sequel too, but it is too basic (compared to its variants) to be charged any amount. It should be a free vehicle in GTA 6 Online if it returns.
