Redditor mid tier masterpiece (u/Ok_Masterpiece9562’) quoted the above dialog which was said by Michael De Santa to the guard after looting the Vangelico Jewel Store.

It is one of the most popular dialogs among the Grand Theft Auto series fans, as it shaped the narrative of GTA 5 story mode. It was a badass signature dialog from the popular protagonist which he also used during the North Yankton robbery.

In the meantime, Trevor Philips heard the dialog on TV news and suspected that Michael was still alive after 10 years of his death. While it is one of the coldest lines cited by Michael, it also brought him some trouble the second time.

2) Trevor after abducting Patricia Madrazo

According to Redditor u/jim_the-gun-guy’ Trevor Philips’ statement after kidnapping Patricia Madrazo, Martin Madrazo’s wife, was one of the solid lines in GTA 5 story mode. The protagonist kidnaps Patricia to show that Martin is not one of the characters who can beat Trevor. It was another pivotal point in the story.

The dialog is one of the funniest lines in GTA 5 story mode. It takes fans on a confused emotional roller coaster ride of whether to laugh or cry at Michael’s condition. This incident forced Michael to stay out of Los Santos for a brief period.

3) Lamar roasting Franklin

Redditor fakeplasticdroid (u/fakeplasticdroid) cited the famous line from Lamar Davis roasting Franklin Clinton after the mission Franklin and Lamar. It was one of the most iconic moments in the game that later became one of the most viral Grand Theft Auto memes. Rockstar Games even recreated the scene in GTA 5 Online using the same characters with different dialogs.

Witty dialogs like these are one of the reasons why fans love Lamar Davis so much. The character even comments on your haircut later, depending on whether you change it.

4) Michael to Dave Norton

The above dialog cited by Redditor ItsJoCa (u/JoTenshi) was initially a normal conversation between Michael De Santa and Dave Norton. However, fans later discovered a speedrun strategy to start the Dead Man Walking mission, which made the line iconic.

The speedrun strategy requires you to trigger the mission by jumping off a blimp. While the action itself sounds ridiculous, Michael greeting Dave as if nothing has happened makes the scene even funnier. It is one of the crazy little details in GTA 5 that keeps the game interesting to play.

5) Michael about moving to Los Santos

The above line quoted by Redditor Tristan (u/No-Ambassador-5920) holds a special place among Grand Theft Auto fans. It was the first dialog from the very first trailer of GTA 5. Protagonist Michael De Santa said it to Dr. Isiah Friedlander while talking about his life.

The dialog became iconic with the player base and many fans often quote it to refer to GTA 5. The first trailer for the 2013 title used this dialog and the succeeding lines to explain the gameplay.
