GTA 6 fans have scrutinized the game's official trailer in great detail since its release on December 5, 2023. Despite being only ninety seconds long, the clip has turned out to be a fountain of information on the upcoming game. Several details about the game were revealed via the trailer, including the protagonists, the sheer scale of the map, various locations in Vice City, and several real-life Florida moments.

Eagle-eyed fans have found several more small details that others may have missed at first glance. While some are easter eggs and references, others are hilarious jokes reminiscent of Rockstar's usual sense of humor found throughout the GTA series. With that in mind, here are five humorous details spotted in the GTA 6 trailer.

5 funniest details spotted in the GTA 6 trailer

1) POACH

The GTA 6 trailer shows several real-life Florida moments as social media reels. One of these shows a forest official dragging an alligator out of a pool, which is likely located in a household. The reel itself is from a Snapmatic handle called "OfficialPOACH." They're showing the video as a warning message to check all pools for alligators.

POACH stands for Protection of Animals & Controlled Hunting, as seen in their logo. This is ironic, considering that "poaching" literally means the opposite of what the agency is supposed to represent. The logo shows a goose within a crosshair, which is another reference to poaching.

2) Crotch Grab

Another social media reel in GTA 6 from an account called "GeneralCustardCannon" shows a man crotch-grabbing in traffic. The video description says that it's "only in Leonida," where a crotch grab is an apology for bad driving.

The man doesn't seem apologetic at all, which implies the caption is just sarcastic. The phrase "only in Leonida" is also a direct reference to the popular "only in Florida" phrase, used to refer to hilarious or crazy incidents that seem to always happen in Florida. The map of GTA 6 is based on Florida, and it's called Leonida in the game.

3) Cash stored in underwear

There are many scenes in the GTA 6 trailer where Jason and Lucia are seen robbing a store. It begins with them preparing, carrying out the robbery, and finally evading the cops in a vehicle. They're not in chronological order, however.

When the two protagonists are robbing the store, there's a note pasted on the door with a hilarious message. It reads: "We will no longer accept cash stored in underwear." The story behind this is currently unknown, leading most fans to believe that it was just intended as a funny hidden message in the trailer.

4) United States of Paranoia

In another scene from the GTA 6 trailer, which is likely a continuation of the robbery, Lucia is seen holding a bundle of cash in her hand. But instead of reading “The United States of America,” the notes say “The United States of Paranoia.” This is typical Rockstar humor, as they frequently make fun of the state of affairs in the United States while offering sociopolitical commentary.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is also expected to have the same kind of satirical comedy as previous titles in the franchise. However, insiders have said that Rockstar will tone down the humor so that it doesn't become too offensive.

5) Angstipan

In the scene where Jason and Lucia seem to be driving away from a robbery, players can see a hilarious billboard. It shows an advertisement for a pill called Angstipan, which might be a satire of Angispan. It could also be a parody of anxiety medicines in general, as the ad's tagline reads, "It cures emotions!"

The disclaimer at the bottom reads: "Patients 18-65 should use with extreme caution. Sudden urge to blink could be life-threatening. Call your doctor if your erection lasts more than 4 hours. Results may vary.”
