Marvel superheroes and supervillains have often been modded into the Grand Theft Auto games, and GTA 6 deserves the same. For instance, it would be fun to see Magneto or Thanos in this upcoming title, and it's mostly up to modders to add them. Grand Theft Auto 6 is coming out in Fall 2025 for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and we don't have a PC release date yet.
So, any such mods can't be made until the game officially launches on PCs. This might not happen before 2026, but fans are undoubtedly willing to wait if it means they get to have comic book characters in a Grand Theft Auto title.
We've made a list of Marvel supervillains that fans would love to see in GTA 6.

Marvel supervillains fans want to see in GTA 6
1) Thanos
Thanos has been quite a popular character for modding since his appearance in Avengers: Infinity War (2018). This version of Thanos, portrayed by actor Josh Brolin, has been popularized by meme culture as well as by his appearances in other video games, like Fortnite and Grand Theft Auto V.
Unlike Fortnite, Rockstar never officially added this Marvel supervillain to their game; he was added in by GTA modders. Such a meme-worthy character often seen in modded Grand Theft Auto 5 gameplay videos deserves to be in GTA 6.
2) Magneto
Magneto has the unique power to control all metallic items. He is one of the most intriguing Marvel supervillains who has immense depth in character. Having Magneto in a GTA game opens up all sorts of possibilities for indulging in some chaotic fun.
As expected, there's already some Magneto mods for Grand Theft Auto V where you get the power to telekinetically control vehicles. This could be taken to greater heights in GTA 6 with the larger Leonida map.
3) Kingpin
The Kingpin is the type of supervillain who would fit in perfectly in a Grand Theft Auto game. For instance, GTA 6 modders could just replace one of the game's antagonists with this iconic Marvel character, and nothing would seem out of place. Kingpin doesn't have any superpowers, though he's of above-average strength and a skilled fighter.
Another reason why Kingpin is so iconic is that he is an antagonist to at least three different Marvel heroes—Spider-Man, Punisher, and Daredevil. The Grand Theft Auto games have already had crime lords who are as powerful and influential as the Kingpin, like Salvatore Leone, Ricardo Diaz, and Sonny Forelli.
4) Doctor Octopus
Most of Spider-Man's antagonists have some detailed backstory that paints them as tragic characters, which makes them easy to sympathize with. Doctor Octopus is probably the most human out of these supervillains, which is why he's also seen as an anti-hero at times.
Otto Octavius is a genius scientist with powerful cybernetic tentacles that let him crawl across buildings as well as grab objects and people. Doc Ock's powers would definitely be fun to play with in GTA 6 as he's somewhat similar to Spider-Man himself.
5) Venom
Venom, along with Spider-Man, are some of the most popular modded Marvel characters in the Grand Theft Auto games. They've been modded into San Andreas, Grand Theft Auto V, and even Vice City. Venom is a fan-favorite Marvel supervillain often portrayed as an anti-hero; he even has his own comic series.
His powers are nearly identical to Spider-Man's, with the exception that he's slightly stronger and, unlike the Friendly Neighborhood superhero, far more intimidating. Venom should definitely be there in GTA 6 when modding becomes common practice.
