GTA Liberty City Stories has many memorable missions that players may recall years or even decades after playing the game. Oftentimes, the most interesting ones tend to have the weirdest plots not found in other games of the series. This list focuses on five of the most mesmerizing examples that are still easy to recall even after all these years.

For those who haven't played GTA Liberty City Stories, these missions are as interesting as they sound. The game is definitely worth playing, especially since this list doesn't even include all of Toni Cipriani's (the protagonist) adventures.

Note: Some aspects of this article are subjective.

Five of the most memorable missions from GTA Liberty City Stories

5) Morgue Party Resurrection

Despite being an easy GTA Liberty City Stories mission, Morgue Party Resurrection remains iconic and well-remembered. It involves Toni Cipriani stealing Ned and Avery's corpses and delivering them to an airport so Donald Love can eat them. The only obstacle here is the cops, although it isn't too difficult to evade them.

A bizarre premise helps make Morgue Party Resurrection stand out from most of the other missions in GTA Liberty City Stories.

4) Cash in Kazuki's Chips

Toshiko's storyline of wanting to be free is quite memorable in GTA Liberty City Stories. Unfortunately, it ends with her committing suicide once she finally realizes her mistakes in hiring Toni Cipriani to kill her husband. This mission is called Cash in Kazuha's Chips.

It involves Toni mowing down some Yakuza members before dueling with Kazuki, who yields a sword. The former can choose to use firearms if he deals with the henchmen first before focusing on Kazuki.

3) The Sicilian Gambit

Final missions tend to be memorable, and The Sicilian Gambit from GTA Liberty City Stories is no exception. There's a shootout at sea against some rival mafia members that eventually culminates in a final battle against Massimo and his helicopter.

The only reason to rank The Sicilian Gambit this low is because the main antagonist isn't too memorable. Massimo Torini appears in two missions, including this one, and he doesn't have much of a personal conflict with Toni Cipriani.

2) Dead Meat

Toni Cirpani's relationship with his mother is incredibly complicated. During Dead Meat, she says that Giovanni Casa hasn't paid his protection money, so Toni thinks Giovanni should die. The mission is straightforward, but it's the ending that is interesting.

Giovanni's corpse is put into a grinder and then repackaged so it can be sold into the deli that he owns. The mission involves a twisted series of events, especially since the Giovanni Casa plotline previously involved Toni taking a picture of him in his diaper chasing women.

1) Bringing the House Down

The most memorable mission from GTA Liberty City Stories is Bringing the House Down. As a quick refresher, this is where Toni Cipriani blows up Fort Staunton, causing irreversible damage to the district. This action permanently changes the area's landscape, a rarity within any game in the series.

It wouldn't be a stretch to say that this is the most evil moment within the Grand Theft Auto franchise, as this mission is essentially an act of terrorism. Toni Cipriani bombs several buildings, causing numerous deaths and doing far more harm than other protagonists. Earlier in this game, he blew up a brothel, although Bringing the House Down is far more extreme.

These GTA Liberty City Stories missions are mesmerizing in their own right, so why not play through them as you wait for a GTA 6 trailer?
