Nothing is known about the types of missions that will be featured in GTA 6. While we can expect them to be somewhat along the lines of the typical Rockstar Games structure, playing some types of missions, featured in the series' previous installments, might not make much sense in the sequel's Miami-based setting of Vice City.
Note that Grand Theft Auto 6's map will be in a fictional state known as Leonida and might feature more cities, as suggested by leaks. However, their existence is yet to be officially confirmed. So, we take a look at five mission types that won't fit well in GTA 6's Vice City.

RC Toy missions and 4 other mission types that won't make sense in GTA 6's Vice City
1) Vinewood-based missions
Vinewood is Rockstar Games' parody of Hollywood, and Grand Theft Auto 5 features quite a few missions based on Vinewood or movies in general. There is even a big movie studio in the game's major city, Los Santos (based on Los Angeles), which is where protagonist Michael De Santa meets his film-making idol Soloman Richards.
Although GTA 6's Vice City can have a movie studio, just like there was one in Grand Theft Auto Vice City, the entire Vinewood and movie production gimmick is better suited for a setting like Los Santos.
2) Paparazzo missions
Grand Theft Auto 5's story mode also features Paparazzo side missions in which players either help a paparazzo named Beverly or take pictures of fictional celebrities in awkward situations themselves. These missions are quite fun to play, but again, are better suited for Los Santos' Vinewood culture.
Fictional celebrities can also appear in Vice City, but having these missions return in the sequel can feel repetitive and somewhat out of place. Rockstar should, instead, explore new and unique mission ideas with GTA 6 characters.
3) RC Toy missions
RC Toys were incredibly popular in the 1980s and 90s. This is likely why missions featuring them were included in games like GTA Vice City and San Andreas, which are set in those decades, respectively.
However, that isn't exactly the case in the current day and age, which is the timeline GTA 6 will be set in. Hence, including RC Toy missions won't make sense in the upcoming game. It should also be noted that these missions are some of the hardest and most disliked missions in the GTA series.
4) Street gang missions
Missions exploring the street gang culture have been featured prominently whenever a Grand Theft Auto game has been set in Los Santos, be it GTA 5 or San Andreas. The Grove Street Families, Ballas, Vagos, and Chamberlain Gangster Families are all major street gangs associated with Los Santos.
While there can be gangs in GTA 6's Vice City, which seems to have been hinted at in the game's first trailer, the street gang culture feels more authentic in the former setting and may come off as forced in the latter.
5) Dom's skydiving missions
Dom Beasly is a character in Grand Theft Auto 5 who assigns players skydiving and parachuting missions. These, again, work well in an area like Blaine County, where there are many mountains and hills.
Such landforms might not be present in Vice City, and although one can jump off skyscrapers like in one of Dom's missions, there are other interesting things to explore. For instance, water could be a big part of Vice City, so Rockstar should include more water sport-based missions as that would make more sense in this setting.
Nevertheless, we will have to wait a little more to learn about the type of missions and other information related to the sequel, such as the GTA 6 price tag.
