1) Better interactions with NPCs

While GTA 6 fans already love the new NPC models, Bartholomewtwo (u/Bartholomewtwo) commented Rockstar Games should add new features. They stated that players should be able to interact better with pedestrians instead of killing them violently. The current game only allows you to fight with them and share a dialog or two.

However, the user stated that the upcoming game should have positive and negative reactions to share with the NPCs. Veteran fans may remember that such detailed interactions were present in older Rockstar projects. Red Dead Redemption 2 also has detailed NPC interactions. Thus, fans want it in the Grand Theft Auto series as well.

2) More Enterable buildings

Having more accessible buildings is one of the longest-standing requests. While the Grand Theft Auto 6 map size is expected to be bigger in all directions, many want to access it internally. Therefore, Redditor TTVMURKENZ (u/TTVMURKENZ) commented that most buildings in the upcoming game should be enterable.

Enterable buildings were a feature in 2008’s Grand Theft Auto 4. However, Rockstar removed it from Grand Theft Auto 5 and Online. Fans love to explore the interiors of various buildings and find collectibles and Easter eggs. So, they hope the developers consider this aspect in GTA 6.

While GTA series games are historically known for their violence and criminal activities, Rockstar Games has drastically reduced the amount of gore since the introduction of the HD Universe. Some players also pointed out that Rockstar added some impressive gores in Red Dead Redemption 2. Even though Grand Theft Auto 5 has a small amount of gore present, they're shown only through cutscenes.

4) Race tracks

Being a series named after stealing cars, the Grand Theft Auto games offer some of the most impressive car races. However, XXviolentGenius (u/XXviolentGenius) wanted Rockstar Games to take one step further and add race tracks in GTA 6 Story Mode.

Rockstar Games recently introduced Drift and Drag races in GTA 5 Online, rejoicing the racing community. The Reddit user stated that having dedicated race tracks in the upcoming game’s Story Mode would help racers get started when Rockstar Games releases GTA 6 Online at a later date.

Novelli (u/Unfair-Charge-5553) commented they didn't want to rely on random strangers to play heist missions in the upcoming game. Rockstar should also prioritize solo-friendly gameplay in the upcoming game and create missions that can be played both solo and with other players.
