Rockstar Games' open-world maps are packed with content, be it Red Dead Redemption or Grand Theft Auto. The GTA 6 map is also expected to be the same. Rockstar itself has described the highly-anticipated Grand Theft Auto installment as the biggest and most immersive evolution of the series, which considerably raises the expectations.

Not much is known officially about the next Grand Theft Auto's open-world activities as of writing. However, there are a few that it must include. In this article, we will look at five open-world activities the GTA 6 map must have.

Note: None of the entries have been confirmed for GTA 6 yet. The article is subjective and solely reflects the writer's opinions.

House robberies and 4 other open-world activities that GTA 6 map must have

1) Accessible restaurants

Accessible restaurants had been a part of the Grand Theft Auto series since GTA Vice City. However, Rockstar Games decided against including them in GTA 5, but they must return in its sequel. Although very basic in function, restaurants were a fun and immersive part of these open-world titles and could aid GTA 6 in this department.

It would also be better if eating at restaurants would have a physical effect on GTA 6 protagonists' physique, similar to GTA San Andreas.

2) Sports

Quite a few Grand Theft Auto games feature sports as an optional activity. Among the most popular names from this list is basketball. Consequently, many fans want to see it return as an open-world activity in GTA 6. It doesn't need to be on a grand scale and can be similar to how it was in GTA San Andreas.

Football (soccer) is another popular sport in Miami, which will be a part of the sequel's map as Vice City. Hence, Rockstar has the option to incorporate that sport as well.

3) House robberies

Since Grand Theft Auto is played from a criminal's perspective, robberies should be the most basic money-making mechanic. However, the series hasn't utilized it as extensively as it should have.

GTA San Andreas features a burglary mechanic that lets players break into NPCs' homes at night and sneak away with valuables. But later installments don't feature anything like that at all.

Nevertheless, such an open-world activity must be available in the GTA 6 map as it would offer a simple but unique way to make money outside of story missions. The GTA 6 leaks did hint at the inclusion of robberies, but that is yet to be officially confirmed.

4) Hidden packages

GTA Vice City is a big fan-favorite within the Grand Theft Auto community. Among its open-world activities is collecting hidden packages, designed as tiki statues. A 100 of these are scattered across the map, giving players a good reason to explore every nook and cranny of the Miami-based setting.

With Vice City's return in the sequel confirmed, Rockstar can pay the perfect tribute to the beloved title by scattering similar Tiki statue collectibles across the GTA 6 map.

5) Florida man random events

The infamous Florida man meme consists of headlines or clips of individuals from Florida being involved in outlandish activities. The GTA 6 map is going to be set in Leonida, which is seemingly Rockstar's iteration of Florida.

Therefore, its open world must feature random events parodying some Florida man moments that players can run into inadvertently. Such random events have the potential of sparking some of the most funny, as well as intriguing, bits of the game.
