Rockstar Games plans to release GTA 6 in the fall of 2025. While the highly anticipated sequel has only been officially revealed through one trailer so far, several leaks have provided additional details about it. Additionally, some fans believe the studio may have included hints about the upcoming game in GTA Online on several occasions.

This article lists five potential GTA 6 teases within GTA Online. It’s important to note that these are purely speculative and have not been confirmed as official.

5 possible GTA 6 teases in GTA Online so far: Downtown Cab Co. Revere Collar Shirt and more

1) Tiki Statue

In the GTA Online Agents of Sabotage update, one of the targets in the "The Fine Art File" mission is a Tiki Statue. This Tiki Statue was known as The Hidden Package in GTA Vice City and even features the same collection sound effect from that game.

While the Tiki Statue seems to be GTA Vice City Easter Egg, some fans speculate it could also serve as a tease for Grand Theft Auto 6, given that Vice City is confirmed as one of the locations in the upcoming game (confirmed in the first trailer in December 2023).

2) Theme song

Grand Theft Auto games are known for their iconic theme songs, and fans are eagerly anticipating the soundtrack for GTA 6. However, some believe it might have already been teased as an 8-bit soundtrack, titled Vice Lights, in GTA Online's Race and Chase arcade game, Race and Chase.

This speculation stems from the fact that another one of its soundtracks, LS Nights, is a sped-up 8-bit version of Grand Theft Auto 5's theme song.

It’s worth noting that the Race and Chase arcade game was introduced well before GTA 6 leaks suggested Vice City would be featured in the upcoming title.

3) Downtown Cab Co. Revere Collar Shirt

The Downtown Cab Co. Revere Collar Shirt was added to GTA Online as a time-limited reward in early 2023. Its graphic, which somewhat resembled a Vice City-like skyline, caught fans' attention, and many believed that it could be a possible Grand Theft Auto 6 tease.

The shirt debuted well before Grand Theft Auto 6's first trailer confirmed Vice City's inclusion, but it did arrive just a few months after the September 2022 development footage leak that hinted at the location’s return.

4) Red Happy Moon Tee

The Red Happy Moon Tee is an apparel in GTA Online. The promotional X post featuring the shirt has been viewed by some fans as a nod to GTA 6.

As seen in the image above, a portion of the Vinewood sign features the characters, "VI," which could be interpreted as the Roman numeral for six. The moon in the image also sparked the Moon Theory, a fan theory that speculated about the release date and announcement of the first GTA 6 trailer.

5) Cayo Perico teaser coordinates

One of the best ways to make money in GTA Online is the fan-favorite Cayo Perico Heist. Rockstar Games added it to the game in December 2020, but a teaser video for the heist, released in November of that year, caught fans' attention for possibly containing a Grand Theft Auto 6 hint.

This video featured some coordinates at the bottom of the screen. When fans looked up the coordinates, they discovered a road that was somewhat shaped like the Roman numeral for six, fueling speculation that this was a subtle GTA 6 tease.
