The Declasse Tulip M-100 is a Muscle Car that debuted in GTA Online in December 2022. It has been chosen as this week's Diamond Casino Podium Vehicle, so through July 3, 2024, players can claim it absolutely free of cost. This is heavily based on luck but will help those interested save $1,658,000, which is the Tulip M-100's price tag on the Southern San Andreas Super Autos website.

But is this car worth trying to win or buying in the game? While better alternatives are available in terms of value for money, it has some interesting aspects. Here are five reasons to own a Declasse Tulip M-100 in GTA Online in 2024.

Here are 5 reasons you might want to own a Declasse Tulip M-100 in GTA Online in 2024

1) Appealing vintage look

The Declasse Tulip M-100 seems to be based on Chevrolet Malibu's fourth-generation model. This gives the current GTA Online Podium Vehicle a conventional, albeit appealing, and vintage look that might pique the interest of classic car enthusiasts.

Tulip M-100's exterior lacks any exaggerated features or embellishments and sports a clean look instead. Its interiors aren't exactly unique either, but come off as sophisticated and comfortable.

2) Good for day-to-day usage

The Declasse Tulip M-100 exhibits good speed. Statistically, it can hit a 116.75 mph (187.89 km/h) top speed post full upgradation as per expert GTA Online vehicle YouTuber Broughy1322's performance tests.

Although this isn't anything extraordinary, it is good enough for general day-to-day usage and free-roaming. However, trying to acquire the Tulip M-100 for free in this GTA Online weekly update would still be better than paying the vehicle's full price.

3) Interesting customizations

Declasse Tulip M-100 isn't a highly customizable vehicle, but the available options do help bring the best out of it visually. Front and rear bumpers, grilles, headlight covers, hood, spoilers, and liveries are all among the parts that can be modified in this Muscle Car.

Completely upgrading the Tulip M-100 with visual and performance options will cost quite a bit, around $381,070. Luckily, plenty of in-game jobs can help in gathering the required funds. Some players like utilizing GTA Online money glitches, but this is an inconsistent method as Rockstar Games usually patches them pretty quickly.

4) Can perform wheelies

Wheelies are mostly associated with motorcycles as performing this trick is much easier with them. However, some Muscle Cars in GTA Online can also perform wheelies, like the Declasse Tulip M-100.

In fact, owners of the car can even equip it with a drag chute during customization. Installing this equipment isn't necessary for executing wheelies by any means, but it does help in performing it for a bit longer than usual.

5) It will be featured in GTA 6

Grand Theft Auto 6 is undoubtedly what fans of the series look forward to the most. The first official GTA 6 trailer released in December last year featured many cars from GTA Online, including the Declasse Tulip M-100 in a pink color scheme and huge custom wheels.

GTA 6's vehicle handling might be different from that of this game, but those who wish to own a piece of the highly anticipated sequel can consider getting the Tulip M-100 while waiting for its release, which is set for Fall 2025.
