GTA 6 is expected to bring various features and gameplay mechanics from the current multiplayer game. HSW (Hao’s Special Works) Performance Upgrades is one of the exclusive features currently enjoyed by PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S users of Grand Theft Auto 5 Online. Rockstar Games offers many unique features via HSW Upgrades that other platform users often envy.
While there is already a high demand for HSW features to be made available for others, the upcoming game is also a notable option. Therefore, this article lists five reasons why Rockstar Games should add Hao’s Special Works Performance Upgrades in GTA 6.

Five reasons why GTA 6 should have Hao’s Special Works Performance Upgrades
1) It offers exclusive customizations
The main goal of Hao’s Special Works Performance Upgrades is to offer exclusive customizations, and it should also be one of the main features of GTA 6. Hao should open a branch store in the State of Leonida and offer his exclusive customizations to the players.
In Grand Theft Auto Online, the HSW Upgrades are not available through other vehicle garages, and the same should be implemented in the next game as well. GTA cars still have many potential customizable options that could be introduced through HSW Upgrades.
2) This feature is still missing from the PC
The PC playerbase has yet to experience Hao’s Special Works Performance Upgrades in Grand Theft Auto Online. Considering GTA 6 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One is out of the question, Rockstar Games should add HSW features to the upcoming game with the PC version release.
This way, players will have more reasons to play GTA 6 on PC and other platforms. Grand Theft Auto 5’s release on PC brought some exclusive features that became standard across the board later. HSW Upgrades could play that role in the upcoming game.
3) It is best for introducing new customizations
Currently, Rockstar Games uses Hao’s Special Works Performance Upgrades to introduce new customizations in Grand Theft Auto 5 Online. Since fans expect the studio to release DLCs for GTA 6 after its release, the HSW garage could be utilized in story mode as well.
The story expansions for Grand Theft Auto 6 should definitely include HSW-exclusive vehicles that can be customized in Hao’s garage.
4) Miami has a rich car culture
Real-life Miami has a rich car culture where car enthusiasts extensively customize their vehicles. Donk is a very popular car category and the first GTA 6 trailer also included it (Donk cars usually have huge wheels with high suspensions).
None of the garages in the current game offer such customizations. Therefore, Rockstar Games should add Hao's Special Works in GTA 6, and allow players to customize the best Grand Theft Auto Online HSW cars as Donk cars. Hao already has a reputation for offering uncommon upgrades, and he should offer Donk customizations in the future.
5) HSW races require HSW-upgradable cars
Along with Hao’s Special Works Performance Upgrades, Rockstar Games introduced HSW Races in GTA Online that require the said upgrades. These races are some of the most fun missions in the multiplayer game, and they should return in the future.
The September 2022 leaks and the first trailer showed many returning cars in GTA 6 from the HSW category. Rockstar Games should also add Hao’s Special Works races and upgrades in Story Mode so that they serve a solid purpose in the game.
