The GTA Online Bottom Dollar Bounties DLC was released last month and it gave players new missions, cars, and many other quality-of-life changes. Rockstar Games is also holding some drip-feed content that is expected to be released later this year. While the player base enjoyed the new gameplay, there's a plausible concern among fans regarding whether this was the last major DLC released by Rockstar Games for the multiplayer game.
Although the gaming studio has yet to comment on it, here are five subtle signs that the GTA Online Bottom Dollar Bounties could be the last major DLC.

5 things that characterize the GTA Online Bottom Dollar Bounties as the last major DLC
1) GTA 6 promotion period is coming

The GTA 6 release date is already confirmed to be in Fall 2025, which is only over a year away. Accordingly, fans are expecting Rockstar to start the promotional period for the game later this year.
Once the studio enters that phase, it is expected to overlook the current multiplayer game, implying that the GTA Online Bottom Dollar Bounties could be the last major DLC for the decade-old title.
2) Rockstar already released a new business
The gaming studio typically releases new businesses during the winter DLCs. However, the GTA Online Bottom Dollar Bounties update already added the Bail Enforcement Business. This could mean there will be no new businesses in the winter DLC this year. And after that, the GTA 6 release date will come closer.
So it isn't improbable to consider the GTA Online Bottom Dollar Bounties as the final major DLC in the game.
3) DLC contents are getting smaller
Over the last few years, DLCs in GTA Online have been getting smaller with each iteration. The Cayo Perico Heist was the last sizable DLC that gave us a new map, heist, and other missions. Although Rockstar announced the GTA Online Bottom Dollar Bounties as a “big” update, it is relatively smaller compared to some of the previous DLCs.
Following this trend, we can expect the upcoming DLCs to be even smaller than the most recent Bottom Dollar Bounties DLC, making the latter possibly the last major DLC release.

4) GTA Online is at the end of its lifespan
There is no denying that Grand Theft Auto Online has reached the end of its lifespan. Even if Rockstar Games tries to stretch it further, a significant majority of the player base will shift to Grand Theft Auto 6 as soon as it releases. Moreover, Rockstar Games is historically known for catering to the majority side. Hence, it's more than likely that the GTA Online Bottom Dollar Bounties is the last major DLC in the game.
After the player base shift, Rockstar will still have to run the game for last-gen console and PC players. However, future updates will most certainly be smaller with some basic changes.

5) Rockstar is prioritizing GTA 6 over GTA Online

It is no secret that Rockstar Games has already shifted a majority of its workforce to develop GTA 6. As the release date of the upcoming game comes closer, more developers could get assigned to the new project.
If that happens, the current multiplayer game may not have any major DLCs due to a lack of developers. Consequently, the GTA Online Bottom Dollar Bounties could very well be the last major DLC.
