5 similarities between GTA Online Agents of Sabotage and Chop Shop updates

The GTA Online Agents of Sabotage and The Chop Shop both were winter DLCs for the multiplayer game. While the former was released just a week ago, the latter was released in December 2023. Despite being a year apart, both the updates have various similarities that only eagle-eyed fans can comprehend. Rockstar has been practicing this technique recently, as the GTA 6 release is the primary goal at hand.

With that being said, this article lists five similarities between the Agents of Sabotage and The Chop Shop updates that players should note.

1) New businesses

While the GTA Online Agents of Sabotage DLC added the new Darnell Bros. Garment Factory business, The Chop Shop update introduced the Red’s Auto Parts Salvage Yard. Both of them are best for solo players to make money easily and fast.

While the Darnell Bros. Garment Factory works as a front to operate various government-related operations (mostly illegal), the Salvage Yard works as a base to plan, steal, and sell expensive cars from the State of San Andreas. Both of them are illegal businesses that use some legal activities as covers.

2) New characters

Both Agents of Sabotage and The Chop Shop DLC updates added some new and old characters in GTA Online. The latest DLC added Jodi Marshall and Pavel (returning character) to the multiplayer game. Whereas, The Chop Shop DLC added Yusuf Amir and Jamal Amir. It is worth noting that Yusuf is a returning character from Grand Theft Auto 4.

Another similar pattern between both DLCs is that one of the characters physically disappears after the first cutscene, while the other remains as your partner. While Pavel disappears from the new business added with the GTA Online Winter 2024 DLC, Yusuf disappears from the Salvage Yard.

3) Introduction of mini heist-like missions

Both DLC updates added several mini-heist-like missions in Grand Theft Auto Online. The Agents of Sabotage update added four missions titled The FIB Files, whereas The Chop Shop DLC added five Robbery Missions. These are solo missions that are frequently played by the grinders.

Rockstar Games offers decent money for completing the DLC missions, and you can also unlock hidden awards by playing them. If you want to grow in the multiplayer game, these are some of the best GTA Online missions to make money and level up quickly.

4) Include mid-season updates

The Chop Shop DLC introduced a mid-season update titled The Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid. It added a set of new missions, giving players the option to make money from one more source. The Agents of Sabotage DLC is also rumored to have a mid-season update in 2025.

Immediately after the release of the latest GTA Online DLC, data miners found a new unreleased business and a few missions associated with it. While it is unsure when it will be released, the pattern is very similar to The Chop Shop DLC. Nonetheless, you can enjoy the new Agents of Sabotage DLC missions till the new ones arrive.

Both the Agents of Sabotage and The Chop Shop DLC added several new police cars in GTA Online. While The Chop Shop DLC added five cop cars, the latest DLC has added three police vehicles so far.

It is worth noting that there are several drip-feed cars in GTA Online Agents of Sabotage DLC yet to be released. We can expect the number of police cars to increase more in the coming days. Nonetheless, both updates put heavy emphasis on adding cop vehicles.
