5 Special Ability ideas for GTA 6's Lucia and Jason

Rockstar Games introduced Special Ability features for the protagonists in Grand Theft Auto 5, and GTA 6 is also expected to follow suit. Both Jason and Lucia should have some optional Special Abilities that players can use when they see fit. GTA 5’s Special Ability features are loved by the fans as they make the gameplay easier at times. The studio should also implement similar interesting features for the upcoming protagonists.

This article lists five ideas for the Special Ability feature that Rockstar Games should consider adding for Jason and Lucia in GTA 6.

5 Special Ability features that Jason and Lucia should have in GTA 6

1) Dead Eye

The Dead Eye is a very popular Special Ability in the Red Dead series and Rockstar Games should make it one of the features in GTA 6. This feature helps players aim and shoot a target with precision. The Grand Theft Auto 6 leaks for September 2022 demonstrated a similar feature for Jason.

While the first official trailer did not show its presence, Rockstar Games should consider adding the Special Ability in the final version of the game.

2) Fast healing

Self-healing in all Grand Theft Auto games is noticeably slow. While Rockstar Games offers health packs for instant healing, finding them is a chore. In Grand Theft Auto 5, the playable characters slowly heal up to half their health bars. This should be improved in GTA 6 with a Special Ability.

Rockstar Games should make fast self-healing a Special Ability in the upcoming game. Since Special Abilities are a temporary feature, players should be able to quickly heal during the period.

3) Ultimate strength

Ultimate strength is a feature that could have many utilities. The GTA 6 gameplay is expected to have various action-packed moments where Jason and Lucia will have to showcase their power and strength. The Ultimate strength Special Ability could increase their physical power for a brief period, allowing them to do things they cannot do normally.

It should include fast running, knocking down enemies with one kick or punch, pushing objects, carrying NPCs, and many other skills. Ultimate strength should also slightly reduce taking damages for the period.

4) Precise driving

While Grand Theft Auto 5’s Franklin Clinton already has a similar feature named Driving Focus, Jason or Lucia should have an improved version of that while driving the cars in GTA 6. The Driving Focus Special Ability slows down the time allowing players to control the vehicle easily. Precise driving should only focus on the driving part, allowing players to take corners, cut through traffic, and break efficiently.

Slowing down the time also makes the gameplay longer. Therefore, the Precise driving Special Ability should allow GTA 6 players to control the vehicle without the slow-down issue. Cars in the upcoming game are expected to have new driving mechanisms. Therefore, the driving-related Special Ability should also change with them.

5) Longer sleep times

Sleeping plays an important role in GTA games. Whether it is to save the game or fast-forward through time, sleeping in the safe house has been helping players for years. Each character has a definitive sleep time and the game progresses by that period only.

Introducing a Special Ability like Longer sleep times should allow players to fast-forward through longer periods more easily. This could come in handy in manipulating stock markets which take weeks to show growth. Sleeping is an important feature that GTA 6 should give attention to.
