The GTA Online Holidays update is currently live, and Rockstar Games has added plenty of content to the popular multiplayer title for the next two weeks. From introducing brand new vehicles like the Coquette D10 Pursuit to bringing back festive-themed random events, they have added something for everyone. However, it’s easy to get lost when there are so many things to do in the vast open world of Los Santos.
So, let’s quickly learn about five things that gamers must prioritize doing in the GTA Online Holidays update.
GTA Online Holidays update: 5 best things to do (December 21-January 1, 2025)
1) Buy the snow-friendly vehicles
The latest GTA Online weekly update not only kickstarted holiday celebrations in Los Santos but also covered the map in snow, making it necessary to pick up vehicles that can traverse through the snow with ease. While vehicles like Oppressor Mk II are among the best ones to travel during the snow, some may prefer something more grounded.
For such players, it’s recommended to buy vehicles like the Pfister Comet Safari and the Declasse Draugur. Both of the rides perform well on the snow-covered land, allowing one to carry on their daily activities efficiently, despite the snow.
2) Get the Yeti Outfit
The next thing one should do is get the limited-time Yeti Outfit if they missed it last year. The Yeti, otherwise known as the Abominable Snowman, is a creature that can be found in the forests during snowy weather. Killing the Yeti unlocks the Yeti Outfit, allowing players to role-play as the creature and create fun moments in the game.
To do so, players first need to find all GTA Online Yeti Hunt locations. Each of the locations will give players a clue and $10,000. Once all clues are found, the ape-like creature will spawn in a circled area (Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness) between 21:00 and 06:00.
3) Hunt Snowmen
Another thing gamers must do in the ongoing GTA Online Holidays update is to collect all snowmen scattered throughout the map of Southern San Andreas. First added with 2022’s Los Santos Drug Wars DLC, the collectible has been a recurring seasonal event that allows players to earn a decent amount of money and RP.
Players must find all the GTA 5 Snowman locations to claim an extra $125,000 and unlock the Snowman Outfit if they didn’t last year.
4) Role-play as a cop
Apart from giving the N.O.O.S.E. outfit as part of the Agents of Sabotage DLC, Rockstar Games also added two brand new Dispatch Missions to the game - Health Code Violations and Obstruction of Justice. Players can enjoy double cash and RP by completing any of the Dispatch missions till January 1, 2025.
Moreover, the new GTA Online Holidays update has added two brand-new cop cars to the game:
- Invetero Coquette D10 Pursuit
- Willard Outreach Faction
Both vehicles can be used for Dispatch Work missions; however, players can create many fun moments by role-playing as a cop in Los Santos using these vehicles.
5) Collect all Holidays freebies
Rockstar Games is giving a couple of festive-themed freebies that gamers shouldn’t miss out on. Just by logging in to the game anytime by January 1, 2025, they can unlock and claim the following items for free:
- Full Ammo, Snacks, and Armor
- Snowball Launcher
- Firework Launcher (with 20 rockets)
- Gold Star Fitted Pants
- Gold Star Fitted Jacket
- Festive Penguin Onesie
- Gold Reindeer Pendant
Furthermore, the returning Happy Holidays Hauler is also dropping free items for the next two weeks. Gamers can take advantage of its presence and get the following items for free:
- Sprunk Festive Sweater
- eCola Festive Sweater
- Ammo Refills
- Snack
- RP
- Cash
All of the aforementioned things added with the GTA Online Christmas Update 2024 are enough for a reason to hustle in Los Santos and kick off 2025 in an exciting manner.
