There are numerous things Rockstar should fix in GTA Online and some of them should take priority over others. Players are hoping the studio might take some action soon since GTA 6 is on the horizon. Once it rolls out, the developer will stop putting in effort to optimize GTA Online and instead turn all their focus and resources on the new game.

This is a big reason why the community wants the studio to immediately fix certain aspects of the online multiplayer mode. Some of these bugs and features have been troubling the player base for quite some time now.

In this article, you'll find a curated list of five such things Rockstar should fix in GTA Online at the earliest to make the game better.

5 things Rockstar should fix in GTA Online to offer a seamless experience

1) The ridiculous NPC aim

The ability of certain NPCs to shoot down players from afar in a single shot has been one of the major issues with GTA Online. Players have been complaining about this for a long time but Rockstar Games has yet to take action. The ludicrous aim of these NPCs makes some important missions in the game unnecessarily harder.

Players get shot out of their Supercars in GTA Online even when going at max speed by pedestrian NPCs. This is extremely annoying and is one of the things Rockstar should fix in GTA Online immediately. It will make the gameplay more enjoyable and balance the mission difficulty.

2) NPCs randomly crashing into players

Randomly crashing NPCs is another one of the most frustrating things Rockstar should fix in GTA Online immediately. This has been a problem from the very beginning and sours the fun of driving across the map for the majority of players.

The NPCs on the road make sudden turns or crash right into the player's vehicle. While it is not the biggest issue normally, it becomes very annoying during import/export missions or the general sell tasks in the game. It also makes completing certain GTA Online business missions unnecessarily time-consuming.

3) Cops AI

Cops are one of the most annoying aspects of GTA Online as they can spawn out of thin air. This is a common occurrence even when there is nobody to report the crime. It is quite frustrating to get wanted stars every now and then because of the broken cop AI mechanic. It is among the things Rockstar should fix in GTA Online to make the game streamlined.

It would be much more realistic and fun if players were allowed to opt for stealth and not get wanted starts for their crimes. Unfortunately, this is not the case in the current multiplayer mode, and firing a single bullet will have the police on alert and after you. However, if the GTA 6 leaks hold any truth, then the police AI in the upcoming title will be a vast improvement over GTA Online.

4) Hackers/Modders

Hackers and Modders are one of the worst parts of playing GTA Online on PC. It is normal to see abnormally high-level players wandering the multiplayer lobbies massacring everybody. This has been the issue since day one and the studio has not yet done anything concrete about it.

These players not only sour the overall experience but also often lead to unnecessary bans in the game. Hence, it is one of the things Rockstar should fix in GTA Online immediately. It will make the game much more pleasurable for everybody and give a fair chance to everyone playing in the multiplayer lobbies.

5) Broken Business Raids

The MC business in GTA Online is one of the best ways to make money in 2024. The missions are standard and don't have a steep difficulty making it doable for new players as well. However, the Business Raids are the most annoying aspect of this venture that everybody has to struggle with.

Getting raided even after purchasing the security upgrade is extremely annoying and one of the things Rockstar should fix in GTA Online immediately. This broken feature makes doing the MC business missions a headache and renders them unenjoyable to extreme levels.

While the ongoing GTA Online 420 update is offering great bonuses, players will be much happier to see these bugs fixed.
