One of the many things fans want to know about is the types of public transport in GTA 6 that they'll get to use. Rockstar is known for creating believable, highly detailed worlds that are quite accurate to their real-life counterparts. Since Grand Theft Auto VI is set in Leonida, a state based in Florida, we can expect to see some transportation services that are common in the Sunshine State.
The original Vice City only had Taxis and buses, and although you could transport other people with them and earn money, you couldn't use these as passengers. We're hoping that this will change in the HD Universe rendition and that there will be multiple types of public transport in GTA 6.

Types of public transport in GTA 6 that fans want
1) Metromover
In one of the GTA 6 leaked footage, we saw that Jason seems to be boarding what looks like a Metromover with a Vice City touch. This is the Vice City Metro Mule, which seems to be based on the Miami Metromover, while another train was spotted with the Vice City International Airport (VCIA) logo, and is most likely based on the Miami International Airport Metromover.
Interestingly, this public transport in GTA 6 was actually first revealed in the Arena War GTA Online update. The Nut House livery for the Nightmare Scarab has been found to showcase the Vice City Metro Mule logo, which only proves that Rockstar might have teased the game a while back and very few players noticed.
2) Metrorail
The only rapid transit metro system in Florida is the Metrorail, which serves Miami and Miami-Dade County. If this is included as public transport in GTA 6, it should be similar to the subway system found in Liberty City in GTA 4. In real life, the Miami Metrorail is directly connected to the previously mentioned Metromover at two different stations.
It would be quite interesting if Rockstar allowed players to use the Metrorail as a means of traveling across the outskirts of Vice City, whereas the Metromover will let us roam around Downtown Vice City.
3) Metrobus
Bus services have been included in nearly every Grand Theft Auto title, but none of these games allow you to use them. You could use one of the buses in Vice City to pick up passengers and make money, but this is one of those lesser-known GTA Vice City secrets that wasn't a fully functional feature.
If Rockstar includes a public transport in GTA 6 based on the Miami Metrobus, they should let players use it both as a passenger as well as a driver.
4) Rail
The Metromover and the Metrorail can function as intracity public transport in GTA 6, but we're also hoping to see a long-distance rail service that offers intercity travel. This is one of those GTA San Andreas features that never made it to another game, but that's mostly because no other game has multiple cities to travel to.
The Grand Theft Auto 6 map is expected to be massive, with multiple settlements, which would be perfect for a rail service.
5) Taxi
The Taxi is the most basic public transport system that's been there in every Grand Theft Auto game, but the ability to use a taxi service was first introduced in Vice City. It was expanded upon in GTA 4, where you can hail a taxi on the streets, and in GTA 5, you can even call the company to send a cab to your location.
Rockstar is likely to add the Taxi back as public transport in GTA 6, but we're also expecting Taxi Missions to be brought back. Grand Theft Auto 5 had a handful of scripted taxi-based missions which were quite different from the open-ended side-missions from before. The best-case scenario would be to have both types of missions.
The GTA 6 second trailer could give us some clues as to the different types of public transport we'll be seeing in the next game.
