5 unusual vehicles fans expect to see in GTA 6

Fans have a long list of expectations from GTA 6 including some very unique vehicles not usually seen in open-world sandbox games. Rockstar Games did show off a handful of new and returning vehicles in the first trailer, and the September 2022 leaks hinted at what the gameplay might feel like. However, vehicle enthusiasts still want more and are quite eager to get their hands on the entire catalog.

Recently, Redditor jiar300 (u/jiar300) asked the r/GTA6 community about the unusual vehicles they want to see in the game. This article lists five such vehicles suggested by fans.

1) Excavators

While the GTA 6 car list is currently incomplete, Redditor Agibada (u/OnlySmeIIz) stated that Rockstar Games should add excavators to the upcoming title. They also insisted that players should be able to use them to dig holes in the ground. In all honestly, this could be a great addition as the studio has yet to add excavators to the Grand Theft Auto series.

Readers should note that Grand Theft Auto 5 includes the HVY Dozer bulldozer that you can find at various spots on the map. While excavators look similar, their arms are longer and the bucket is smaller. The studio should definitely consider adding it as an operational vehicle in Grand Theft Auto 6.

2) Cruise ships

Redditor bokoblo (u/bokoblo) claimed that the harbor in GTA 6's Vice City should contain cruise ships. The map of Grand Theft Auto 6 is highly inspired by real-life Miami, where such ships are a common sign. Therefore, the upcoming game should also include them as a nod to real life.

The first GTA 6 trailer only showed large cargo ships and small yachts. In Grand Theft Auto 5 Online, you can technically buy a cruise ship. However, it is worthless and serves very little purpose. Therefore, the upcoming game should include them as NPC vehicles and even allow players to explore them completely.

3) Segway scooters

The inclusion of Segway scooters would be one of the craziest fan-requested features for GTA 6. It is a very popular single-person scooter that is used for short-distance travel around the world. However, at the core, it is a luxury vehicle that saves people from walking.

Redditor 555Ivanov (u/555Ivanov) commented that Rockstar Games should include Segway scooters in the upcoming title. While it may not be the most practical choice of transportant, Jason and Lucia could use them to explore smaller regions in free-roam.

4) Skateboards

Redditor pipon245 (u/pipon245) suggested that the gaming studio should add skateboards in GTA 6. It is worth noting that the map of Grand Theft Auto 5 features various skateboarding locations and even a brand named Curbcrawler Skateboards. However, you cannot find any NPCs using them in the open world.

Skateboards were also planned to be added to Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, but Rockstar Games dropped them from the final version. Nonetheless, skateboarding should be one of the gameplay mechanics in GTA 6. The series already has various hints of the sporting equipment, and the Bully game already features the skateboard as a ridable vehicle. Therefore, it should debut in the Grand Theft Auto series as well.

5) Combine harvesters

Redditor I Broke My Foot On A L3go (u/L3go07) commented that combine harvesters should return in the upcoming game. The combine harvester was one of the most popular vehicles in San Andreas and has since become one of the most common fan-requested features in GTA 6.

Funnily enough, many veterans want to drive a combine harvester into a crowded area to mow down the NPCs. It will be interesting to see whether or not the studio includes it.
