GTA 4 was one of the biggest projects from Rockstar Games in 2008. It was the studio’s first and official entry to its HD Universe after the successful run of the 3D Universe for seven years. The game came with many new changes that wowed the gaming community at that time. However, 16 years later, new details are still being found.

This article discusses seven such things that only GTA 4 players can do in the game.

Seven unique things Rockstar Games added in GTA 4

1) Bowling

Bowling is one of the important reasons why fans love to play GTA 4 in 2024. It is a mini-game that you can play alone or with another NPC friend. Niko Bellic’s cousin brother Roman Bellic is notorious for constantly calling him to go bowling.

Rockstar also included an achievement for the expert players in this mini-game.

2) Push NPCs to fall

The Euphoria physics of GTA 4 allows you to create various hilarious scenes in the game. Rockstar allows players to hand-push NPCs, and the player base uses this mechanism to push pedestrians off of bridges and other high-raised places. Seeing them falling with the Euphoria physics is a great time pass in the game.

You can also use vehicles to push them harder.

3) Request Weapon Vehicles

The Weapon Vehicle is a unique feature in GTA 4 that should return in Grand Theft Auto 6. Players can request Little Jacob, Terry Thorpe, and Armando Torres to provide some weapons on the go. They will arrive near your location and you can purchase various weapons from them.

Weapon Vehicles save you time as you do not have to visit the actual weapon store frequently.

4) Request vehicles from other NPCs

Similar to the weapons, GTA 4 players can also request vehicles for personal use. Niko can call Roman and ask for a vehicle delivered to his location. This feature really comes in handy when you are stranded in a remote location with no good cars nearby.

Plus, acquiring requested vehicles does not attract any wanted levels.

5) Play single-player DLCs

Having single-player DLCs is one of the greatest flexes of Grand Theft Auto 4 fans, and it is one of the main reasons why you should play GTA 4 before Grand Theft Auto 6 releases. Rockstar Games offered two story expansions named The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony.

These DLCs give you new perspectives about the main plot and also unlock new characters.

6) Choose dates

While dating was also one of the unique features in Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, GTA 4 gives you more control over it. Rockstar assigns you two girlfriends that are crucial for the storyline. However, you can visit the dating websites in the game and date three more girls simultaneously.

You can call them to hang out and also visit their house for some romance.

7) Visit internet cafes

The internet cafes are some of the greatest attention to detail in the GTA 4 map. While they have been present in multiple Grand Theft Auto titles, only Grand Theft Auto 4 allows you to use them. TW@ cafes are the only source of digital communication in the game.

You can mail others, check various websites, and also purchase new features for your in-game phone.
