It is being speculated that Sony might have teased a new PlayStation event for December 3, 2024, in a recent video titled Play Has No Limits. Additionally, reputed leaker billbil-kun (@billbil_kun on X) suggested in a tweet that fresh news related to PlayStation could be coming.

Fans were quick to connect this leak with rumors about PlayStation reportedly acquiring marketing rights for GTA 6 from earlier this year. This has made many believe that GTA 6's second trailer might be showcased at this rumored event. Popular Grand Theft Auto YouTuber TGG even tweeted on this rumor, to which @morsmutual_ (another GTA YouTuber) replied saying:

It should be noted that the first GTA 6 trailer was released around a week before last year's GTA Online Winter DLC. This is why another fan, @Raspberry088, suggested that Rockstar Games might promote this year's Winter DLC (rumored to release on December 10) by possibly releasing the GTA 6 trailer 2 a week before it.

The skepticism is understandable, given how most of such fan theories, especially the recent GTA 6 trailer 2 Moon Theory, have panned out.

Readers are also advised to take it with a grain of salt since all of this is purely speculation. As of this writing, Sony hasn't confirmed an upcoming PlayStation event for December 3, 2024, and Rockstar hasn't announced a release date for the next trailer either.
