The Bilibili GTA 6 trailer has brought Grand Theft Auto fans' interest back to the upcoming Rockstar Games title's first trailer, released back in December 2023. This variant, found on the Chinese video-sharing website Bilibili, is being suggested to be of a much higher quality than the YouTube version. Fans seem to be greatly intrigued by the level of detail in the character models as well as the environment that apparently went unnoticed until now.
Notably, many expected Rockstar to drop a second trailer by now and even formed many theories predicting its possible release window. The lack of a trailer caused a fair bit of disappointment within the fanbase, but the newly emerged details in the Bilibili GTA 6 trailer look have brought back some of the excitement.
Here is everything that you need to know about the Bilibili GTA 6 trailer
The Bilibili GTA 6 trailer is not a new trailer, but just a higher-quality version of the same video that Rockstar released in December 2023. It seems to have been found by X user @takeshi_no_uta on the Chinese website Bilibili and has garnered a lot of attention from Grand Theft Auto fans online in the last few days.
The graphics already looked very impressive, but the higher image quality of the newly discovered video makes GTA 6 look even more detailed. Minute details on character models, such as acne, stretch marks, realistic lip textures, and hair strands are some of the most talked-about things from this trailer.
@videotechuk_, a prominent member of the Grand Theft Auto community on X, even pointed out how some pictures in Lucia's prison cell look clearer in the Bilibili version.
Besides character models, environmental details such as grass and water textures have caught fans' attention too.
Grand Theft Auto 6 is possibly the most anticipated video game of all time, and its first trailer is still the only official piece of media out there as of this writing, with no signs of GTA 6 trailer 2 or screenshots so far.
Fans had expected the upcoming title to have high-quality visual effects and details, given Rockstar Games' reputation, and were greatly impressed by all that was showcased by the first trailer on YouTube. The discoveries made in the Bilibili GTA 6 trailer, however, make it look even better somehow.
Nevertheless, many are still awaiting a second trailer or screenshots to see more of the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto installment. The game is set to release during Fall 2025 on PS5 and Current-Gen Xbox consoles, so Rockstar might drop new information in the near future.
