The Bravado Half-track is one of the military vehicles available in GTA 5 Online. Like other similar automobiles, it remains purchasable in the game despite 2023’s infamous San Andreas Mercenaries DLC. Based mainly on the real-life M3 Half-track, the vehicle debuted in Los Santos in 2017 as part of the Gunrunning update. Rockstar Games often features the ride during weekly events, bringing it into the limelight every now and then.

This article shares various details about the Bravado Half-track in GTA 5 Online that players should know.

Bravado Half-track in GTA 5 Online: Everything important to know

GTA 5 Online’s Bravado Half-track isn’t a brand-new vehicle, so there are a couple of things that one should know about it before buying it:

1) Design inspiration

The Bravado Half-track has a serious look and vibe to it. Despite being primarily based on the real-life M3 Half-track, it has also seemingly taken inspiration from Sd.Kfz. 7 half-track. The vehicle is essentially an armed variant of the Bravado Duneloader, a two-seater off-road pickup truck.

2) Performance

According to the in-game files, the GTA 5 Online Bravado Half-track runs on a diesel engine with a four-speed gearbox in an RWD layout, and is capable of reaching a top speed of 46.60 mph (75.00 km/h).

However, its actual on-road performance came out differently when tested by popular GTA content creator Broughy1322. According to them, the military vehicle can actually go up to a top speed of 58.25 mph (93.74 km/h) on a full upgrade. It can also complete one lap in about 1:52.648.

3) Armor and weapons

The Bravado Half-track in GTA 5 Online is popular for its armor. The vehicle has excellent tolerance against explosions and gunfire, competing directly with the likes of Insurgent Pick-Up Custom and Nightshark. With 100% Armor Upgrade equipped, it can withstand 26 homing missiles, eight sticky bombs, eight RPGs, or four tank cannon shots. This makes it the ultimate vehicle to own for traversing the free roam.

When it comes to weaponry, the Half-track comes equipped with a turret on the back. The weapon offers 360-degree coverage with an upper elevation angle limit of 35 degrees. With an impressive damage rate of 75 per shot and a range of 500 meters, it can be lethal in the hands of a skilled player.

4) Price

The military vehicle is generally available for a full price of $2,254,350-$1,695,000 from the Warstock Cache & Carry website. Rockstar Games also gives it at a discounted price; however, that’s very rare these days.

Final Verdict:

If GTA Online players want an armored vehicle with weapons and can compromise on the speed, there’s no better choice than the Half-track. It is also rumored to return in the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6.
