"Bro got the Animal Control dlc earlier": GTA Online fans are mesmerized by a player's hunting skills

Grand Theft Auto 5's story mode featured wildlife in its open world; however, its multiplayer - GTA Online, excluded them initially. It was only when The Chop Shop update was released in December 2023 that wildlife debuted in it, that too exclusively on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. While not exactly game-changing, encountering animals in Blaine County can be very intriguing and Redditor u/jiberish76's recently uploaded video is a great example of that.

In the said video, u/jiberish76 gets attacked by a mountain lion at the Bayview Lodge near Paleto Bay. The player stuns it and then climbs on top of their Vapid Caracara 4x4's bonnet. After recovering, the mountain lion somehow ends up in the pickup truck's loading bed, which u/jiberish76 shuts via the Interaction Menu and hilariously takes off with the animal.

This video has over 3,000 upvotes as of this writing, and over a hundred comments. One of them, by Redditor u/bananaboogieboard03, talked about the OP getting the "Animal Control dlc" early.

Readers should note that this is just a sarcastic comment and no such future Grand Theft Auto Online DLC has been announced by Rockstar Games.

Another notable comment, by u/DRLZEtoWRATH, talked about releasing the mountain lion on another player.

Interestingly, the OP replied to this by stating that they actually tried doing that. However, the animal would just run off when set free.

The open world of Grand Theft Auto Online can sometimes be very unpredictable. This has become a little more apparent with the addition of wildlife on Current-Gen consoles, as shown by u/jiberish76's video above.

These are the things that keep players entertained in this 10-year-old title, besides all the missions and heists, as they wait for the series' next installment, Grand Theft Auto 6. That game will also feature wildlife, as shown in its first trailer, which recently hit 200 million views on YouTube.

In fact, alligators were featured on a couple of occasions in the trailer, with the creature entering a store in one scene. It isn't known if that footage was just a part of a cutscene or can happen as a random event in GTA 6's open world. Rockstar Games has been very secretive about this title, and fans will have to wait for more trailers and official screenshots to get further information on it.
