GTA 6 fans have been eagerly awaiting information about the upcoming title from Rockstar Games. While this excitement and anticipation continue to grow, no new details have been shared of late. However, the recently leaked specifications of the PS5 Pro online seem to have attracted some attention. On November 3, 2024, user @brunno_fast posted a picture of what is believed to be the specs of the upcoming PlayStation hardware.
A Grand Theft Auto 6 fan, @videotechuk_, highlighted the supposed leaked specs of Sony’s forthcoming hardware and expressed their excitement regarding the upcoming game:
“Can’t wait to see what Rockstar cooks with this hardware.”
Another fan commented on the post, stating that they expected such specifications from the upcoming PS5 Pro console:
“So exactly as expected.. not all that much extra going on there.”
@tuurluur79 reacted sarcastically by suggesting that Rockstar games can now make a GTA 5 remastered remake:
“Maybe they can make a remastered remake of GTA5.”

Some don't think the PS5 Pro version of Grand Theft Auto 6 will be any better. Meanwhile, user @neomax170 questioned the possibility of the game running at 60 fps on the upcoming console. What are the leaked PS5 Pro specifications that GTA 6 fans should know about?
Based on the image surfacing on the internet, here are the supposed specifications of the PS5 Pro console, as per the leaks:
- GPU: RDNA GPU (unspecified) at 16.7 TFLOPS
- CPU: x86-64-AMD Ryzen Zen 2 (8-core/16-thread)
- RAM: GDDR6 16GB (usable for graphics) + DDR5 2GB (usable for operations)
- Storage: 2TB SSD
- Power Supply: 390W
The leak also lists what is allegedly new in the PS5 Pro model compared to the standard PS5/PS5 slim models:
- WiFi 7 Support
- 2GB DDR5 Memory for operations
- 16.7 TFLOPS
- Extra USB-C port (replacing a USB-A port)
GTA 6 fans would be looking forward to the console that is set to be released worldwide on November 7, 2024. While the Pro version should supposedly run games better than the standard version, it remains to be seen/known how the upcoming title from Rockstar Games will exploit the new hardware.
