To sell cars in GTA 5 Online, you must first acquire them either by stealing or buying. Here are the basic steps you must follow after that:

1. Drive the car to Los Santos Customs, Los Santos Car Meet, or any other garage that allows you to modify cars.
2. Browse through the customization menu and find the "Sell" option.
3. Click on the Sell option. It should give you another option, named "Sell Vehicle," with the price that Rockstar Games will refund you.
4. If you are satisfied with the deal, click on the Sell Vehicle option and confirm your decision.
5. The "Vehicle sold" message should appear in the customization menu and you should get the refund money.
