A GTA 5 fan recently showcased their 3D printed map of San Andreas, with Los Santos and Blaine County being clearly visible. Grand Theft Auto players frequently enjoy showing off their amazing accomplishments from the games, particularly Grand Theft Auto Online, but occasionally their achievements aren't entirely virtual.

Since it's more rare for fans to make something related to the games in real life, it often attracts much more attention. The map in question is a rather simple creation since it's a publicly available resource that anyone can make with a 3D printer at home. However, it's still interesting to see the San Andreas map in GTA 5 from a unique perspective.

The above post, which shows the 3D map in question, was shared on the r/gtaonline subreddit by a u/x_Luis. The impressive GTA 5 map, or sculpture in this context, is 72x48 inches, making it quite big enough for all the details to pop out. The OP also shared some details about the printing process and provided the source from where they found the map.

The original blueprint, called "Los Santos GTA V 3D Miniature" by DotCom Artwork, is available at MakerWorld, where you can get all sorts of models for your 3D printers. The OP used an Anycubic Kobra 2 Max, and it took them two weeks to build. The finished product uses less than a kilogram of filament, as described on the MakerWorld page.

The OP says they were inspired by Dom Riccobene's (@dom.riccobene on Instagram) 3D-printed San Andreas map from Grand Theft Auto 5, which was made a few years earlier.

The top-voted comment on x_Luis' post was made by amackul8, suggesting Rockstar could reference it in the next game by having "piles of coke" shaped into this map. The reason this user thought of coke is most likely because the map is snow-white and Vice City in GTA 6 is expected to have much more cocaine than Grand Theft Auto 5.

One thing this topographic 3D printed map makes clear is the massive scale of Mount Chiliad, which takes up almost half of the map. It's the highest point in the game and is home to one of the most complex mysteries in the series. However, this massive scale also means there's not much to explore here, which many players have complained about over the years.

Hopefully, with the GTA 6 map, we will see more interesting wilderness regions to explore in Leonida, such as the Everglades or even the giant lake in the middle.
