Even Red Dead Redemption 2, another acclaimed Rockstar title, featured supernatural elements like ghosts and a ghost train, all of which were mentioned in a recent Reddit post by u/BraveViper914, who hopes for more creepy/paranormal experiences in Grand Theft Auto 6.

Reacting to this post, u/lolmanomggodducky recalled spotting a Skunk Ape world event in the GTA 6 leaks. Here's what they said:

"Oh yes! There will be. In-game events titled "Skunk Ape" aka the Florida bigfoot were seen in the 2022 leaks."

For those unaware, Skunk Ape is somewhat Florida's equivalent of the Bigfoot. Since the next Grand Theft Auto will be set in Leonida, which is likely based on real-life Florida, the mythical creature being referenced in some way would make sense, but its inclusion is yet to be officially confirmed.

Nevertheless, if the Skunk Ape does end up appearing in the final game, u/spyroz545 would like it to be hidden from players and entice them to look for it.

Apart from the Skunk Ape, fans believe that swamps could offer an eerie experience in general. Some would like to see elements related to the Bermuda Triangle, serial killers, and Robert the Doll.

While such elements are not the main attraction of Grand Theft Auto games, they do add a thrilling touch. Encountering them when exploring the map can be entertaining, which is why many fans seemingly want Rockstar Games to add creepy and paranormal elements in GTA 6.

A Skunk Ape world event spotted in the Grand Theft Auto 6 leaks has excited a few fans. In fact, they want more such elements in the upcoming sequel, as is evident from the comments above.

However, Rockstar has kept the game's details under wraps so far. Even the world event spotted in the leaks doesn't guarantee that the mythical creature will 100% be a part of the game, as a lot could be omitted during development.

That said, the Bigfoot in Grand Theft Auto 5 turned out to be a human in a costume. Thus, it is best to temper your expectations for GTA 6 until more official information is revealed.
