The Wildlife Photography Challenge collectible mission is an exclusive mission for Franklin Clinton, where he has to take pictures of 20 designated animals. These include both wild and domestic that can be spotted across the map. The challenge unlocks after you complete the Paparazzo Strangers and Freaks mission.

The following are the 20 animals that you will need to photograph:

  • Boar
  • Border Collie
  • Cat
  • Chicken Hawk
  • Great Cormorant
  • Cow
  • Coyote
  • Crow
  • Deer
  • Hen
  • Husky
  • Mountain Lion
  • Pig
  • Poodle
  • Pug
  • Rabbit

  • West Highland Terrier

The photographs must be sent to the Los Santos Tourist Board to register your progress. While domestic animals are easy to photograph, the wild animals can give you a tough time as they can run from the location if you get too close. While the Monkey Mosaics collectible mission is given to Franklin by Lamar Davis, you can also do it as Micahel De Santa and Trevor. There are 50 Monkey Mosaics that you can find and photograph after completing the Repossession mission.

While some of them can be found on the ground, the rest are located on rooftops and other high areas. These are pixelated monkey images drawn on various surfaces. Therefore, when you explore an area, keep an eye out for monkey drawings to find these collectibles.

Photographing all 50 Monkey Mosaics will unlock 12 new clothes (four shorts, five tank tops, and three dresses) for Trevor Philips. Returning players from the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game will also get the Dinka Go Go Monkey Blista car.

Peyote Plants are consumable collectibles that turn you into an animal in the game. Rockstar Games included 27 regular and seven golden Peyote Plants. The regular Peyote Plants are available at all times and are divided into three categories:

  • Land
  • Air
  • Water

Each of them will turn you into a random animal based on the category (Land: normal animals, Air: birds, and Water: Fish). The seven golden Peyote Plants only appear after you have collected the regular ones, completed the game to 100%, and unlocked The Last One side mission. These can turn you into the Sasquatch.

There are 50 stunt jump locations in Grand Theft Auto 5 that you can access at all times. These are disguised as broken bridges, jump ramps, dustbins, etc. The main goal of these collectible missions is to get into the air with a ground-based vehicle and land properly on all of its wheels. Some stunt jumps also require you to reach a certain distance before landing.

If you are aiming to complete the game 100 percent, you only need to do 25 of the stunt jumps. However, Rockstar rewards the Show Off achievement (30G)/bronze trophy for those who complete all 50.

The Letter Scraps collectible mission is a part of the murder of actress Leonora Johnson. There are 50 letter scraps in various locations that you can start collecting after the Repossession mission. The collectible item appears as a glowing piece of paper.

Once you collect all 50 pieces it becomes a letter that reveals the murderer of the actress. It also unlocks a new side mission named A Starlet in Vinewood for Franklin where he has to kill the culprit. You will also get the A Mystery, Solved achievement (15G)/bronze trophy.

The Spaceship Parts collectible mission unlocks after the Far Out Strangers and Freaks mission. Omega tasks Franklin to find and collect 50 spaceship parts scattered around the map. These are small glowing machine parts that also emit a sci-fi alien-like noise.

Once you collect them all, The Final Frontier side mission will be unlocked for Franklin. Rockstar will also reward you with the BF Space Docker and the From Beyond the Stars achievement (15G)/bronze trophy.

The Submarine Parts collectible mission can be started as Michael after The Merryweather Heist. However, the character must first buy the Sonar Collections Dock and complete the Death at Sea Strangers and Freaks mission.

There are 30 collectible submarine parts that spawn underwater. You will have to use the Minisub or scuba gear to dive in the water. These are glowing metal sheets that you can easily find following the minimap or the beeping sound. Collecting all 30 pieces unlocks the What Lies Beneath mission for Michael.

The Nuclear Waste collectible mission also unlocks after The Merryweather Heist and buying the Sonar Collections Dock. You can do it simultaneously with the Submarine Parts mission. There are 30 nuclear waste barrels that you can find underwater.

Each barrel rewards you with $23,000 and finding them all gives you an additional $250,000 bonus. However, you must use a submarine and the Trackify app to find the barrels. Completing this collectible mission will reward you with the Waste Management achievement (15G)/bronze trophy.

The Epsilon Tracts collectible mission unlocks only after Michael completes the Unknowing the Truth Strangers and Freaks mission. Michael will receive emails from Marnie Allen about the locations of the items. The game spawns seven Epsilon Tracts in different locations.

You must collect them serially as disclosed by Marnie Allen. It is a continuation of the Epsilon Program side mission for Michael.

The Under the Bridge collectible mission is an advanced version of stunt jumps where you need to fly an aircraft from under a bridge. There are 50 bridges to complete the mission. While some are easy, others are very narrow and require professional flying skills.

Completing 25 Under the Bridge challenges will be counted towards 100 percent completion of the game. However, if you want the Close Shave achievement (20G)/bronze trophy, you must complete all 50 missions.

Similar to Under the Bridge, the Knife Flights collectible missions are also for expert flyers. However, in this activity, you must use a plane and fly between 15 sets of designated buildings vertically. Helicopters cannot be used for this mission.

Completing this collectible mission (along with Under the Bridge) is necessary to unlock the Close Shave achievement/trophy.

Important details about the ‘Hidden Packages’ collectible mission in Grand Theft Auto 5

Rockstar Games included 15 hidden packages that spawn both on land and water. These are briefcases filled with cash that can reward you between $7,000 and $25,000 each. Four of the hidden packages also spawn inside the Altruist Camp in the Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness.

You can collect them during the Altruist Cult Shootout mission or come back later as any of the protagonists.

The underwater hidden packages will require you to wear scuba gear.


The GTA 5 collectibles guide readers should note that most of the land-based collectibles can be found with the help of Chop, the dog. However, he must be near the item. Simply hangout with Chop as Franklin and ask him to find things nearby.
