GTA 5 Online Winter DLC release date and expected time (all regions)

GTA 5 Online Winter DLC is the upcoming big update for the popular multiplayer title. Rockstar Games has already shared what to expect from this big update, including its release date: Tuesday, December 10, 2024. The new content seemingly includes a brand-new business, a new set of missions, new vehicles, weapons, and more.

While the exact release time for the GTA 5 Online Winter DLC has not been revealed yet, it is not difficult to anticipate it based on the previous year’s Winter DLC.

Rockstar seldom shares the exact release date for all the DLCs they bring out, and it’s no different for the upcoming GTA 5 Online Winter DLC. After announcing the release date, the developers just posted a picture of an upcoming car, the Bravado Banshee GTS. They didn’t even release a second newswire post dedicated to the DLC’s features like they usually do.

Despite all of this, long-time Grand Theft Auto community members and players know there’s a pattern that the developer follows for these kinds of releases. Last year, they released The Chop Shop DLC at a specific time, which was the same a year before that for the Winter DLC 2022.

Based on that pattern, the GTA Online Agents of Sabotage is expected to be released at the following times on the release day:

• Miami - 5 am EST
• New York - 5 am EST
• São Paolo - 7 am BRT
• London - 10 am GMT
• Paris - 11 am CEST
• Madrid - 11 am CET
• Cape Town - 11 am SAST
• Riyadh - 12 pm AST
• Moscow - 1 pm EEST
• Nagpur - 3:30 pm IST
• Beijing - 6 pm CST
• Perth - 6 pm AWST
• Tokyo - 7 pm JST
• Christchurch - 11 pm NZDT

Once again, players on PS4 and PS5 can already pre-load the DLC on their systems. On PS5, it takes around 6 GB of space but only 2.8 GB is required on PS4. Both Xbox and PC gamers must wait for December 10, 2024, to be able to download the data on the respective platforms.

Moreover, the GTA 5 Online Winter DLC will add the brand new El Strickler Military Rifle. However, the new weapon will supposedly be available only for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S users. Gamers who will download the DLC on their PS4, Xbox One, or PC may not be able to access the gun.
