The next big title in the Grand Theft Auto series, GTA 6, is scheduled to be released next year in the fall. The first trailer showed a glimpse of one of the protagonists, Lucia, along with other things that fans can expect from the title. While the game itself is still far away, fans have a certain expectation from it. Apparently, they want Rockstar Games to add the iconic Tommy Vercetti shirt to it.
Reddit user u/jjthecooles started a discussion on the social media platform by clearly stating that they are “dying for this shirt to be in the game.”
Another fan, u/Ready_Peanut_7062, commented that they are hoping for the same:
“Really hope so. Either way someones gonna make it via a mod for pc.”
u/heyhocodyo1997 shared an interesting expectation regarding the Tommy Vercetti shirt in GTA 6:
“Have his whole outfit and call it the harwood butcher.”
They are not alone as many other fans would like to see Rockstar add the iconic item from the OG Vice City in GTA 6. Here are a few other noteworthy comments on u/jjthecooles’s post:
As already confirmed, Vice City will be back in GTA 6, so it’s natural for fans to expect some OG things to return. While getting Tommy Vercetti’s shirt is always going depend on Rockstar’s choice, it is not impossible to see such a thing as the developer added iconic outfits in GTA Online last year.
What all has been confirmed for GTA 6 so far?
The Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer revealed a lot of critical information about the upcoming title in the series. Apart from the main characters like Lucia and Jason, other in-game characters were seen in the footage. The State of Leonida is also confirmed to be part of the game’s map by the developers in the following manner:
“Grand Theft Auto VI heads to the state of Leonida, home to the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and beyond in the biggest, most immersive evolution of the Grand Theft Auto series yet.”
Additionally, at least two platforms are also confirmed on which the game will be released – PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. It seems unlikely that Rockstar will skip PC players, but there's been no announcement regarding it as of yet.
While not much is confirmed anymore at the moment, fans can expect a few gameplay changes in the game based on the 2022 leaks. This includes a limited weapon-carry system, new movement mechanics, and more detailed car interiors.
Fans can expect the developer to release a second trailer of the game this year.
