GTA Online Drift and Drag Races offering 3x cash and RP (June 20-24, 2024)

The GTA Online weekly update released earlier today has brought along some new bonuses to benefit from. This week's focus seems to be on competition as both Drift as well as Drag Races are offering 3x of the usual cash and RP rewards through June 24, 2024. While there are other enjoyable racing categories in the game as well, these two include fun and unique gimmicks that make them fresh and interesting for players.

Starting Drift and Drag Races is quite simple and can be done from the game's pause menu. For those requiring assistance, here is a list of all GTA Online Drift and Drag Races offering 3x cash and RP this week.

GTA Online Drift Races rewards Drift Points to participants based on how smoothly they drift their cars, and whoever scores the most points is declared winner. Here is a list of all Drift Races that will pay triple rewards this week:

• Drift Race - A Hill To Die On
• Drift Race - Beach Slap
• Drift Race - Highway Code
• Drift Race - Let Fly
• Drift Race - Smoke and Mirrors
• Drift Race - Textile City Limits
• Drift Race - Wide Berth

Only eight cars are eligible to participate in Drift Races as of this writing and they utilize the Drift Tuning modification. It can be equipped to the eight eligible cars in freemode at the LS Car Meet.

More vehicles might be made compatible with Drift Tuning in the future, possibly via the GTA Online Bottom Dollar Bounties Update, but that remains to be seen.

Until the DLC releases, you can enjoy participating in GTA Online Drag Races, which allow participation of some vehicles from the Tuner, Muscle, and Sports categories. Here are all Drag Races paying 3x cash and RP through June 24, 2024:

• Drag Race - Bluff It
• Drag Race - Drag It Out
• Drag Race - High n Dry
• Drag Race - Kickin' Sand
• Drag Race - Make the Pass
• Drag Race - Natural Highs
• Drag Race - Playing Chicken

This competition features a tire burnout mini-game before the race, and a Shift Up mechanic during it, both of which factor in how well you can perform. A one-time Nitrous Boost will be made available during the race as well and using it at just the right moment can prove highly advantageous.

The standard payouts of both Drift and Drag Races leave a lot to be desired; however, the 3x bonuses active during this GTA Online weekly update have made them a little more rewarding and worth trying.

To start either of these races, open the multiplayer's pause menu, head over to the ONLINE tab, click on Jobs, Play Job, Rockstar Created, and then look for them in the Races playlist.
