GTA Online Podium Robbery: A beginner's guide

GTA Online Podium Robbery is one of the five Salvage Yard Vehicle Robberies. It features a scope out mission (only to be done on the first attempt) and then two mandatory Planning Works and three Tasks. Needless to say, you will have to purchase a Salvage Yard property to access any of these robberies and then use the computer inside to get started.

Salvage Yard Robberies usually pay well above $200,000, and you can even claim the stolen car occasionally for a negligible fee. Here's a beginner's guide for the GTA Online Podium Robbery.

Here's how to complete Salvage Yard's GTA Online Podium Robbery

Those attempting the GTA Online Podium Robbey for the first time must play a scope out mission. It is quite easy and only requires taking pictures of the security tunnel exit, the waste disposal entrance outside the Diamond Casino, and the Podium Vehicle inside, all marked on the map.

With this mission done, you can start any of the two GTA Online Podium Robbery Planning Works: LSDS Disguises and Storage Key Card.

LSDS Disguises will have you going to a water treatment plant, destroying some sewage tankers, and turning on release valves. There will be resistance at the site, so stock up on snacks, ammunition, and body armor beforehand. An LSDS van will show up momentarily after completing these two objectives, that you will have to steal and deliver to your Salvage Yard.

Storage Key Card requires stealing a key card from the Diamond Casino valet's residence. The house typically has flamingo statues and a certain vehicle outside (details will be texted by Jamal) that you will have to find in a marked search area.

Once found, head inside, intimidate the valet by shooting around him, and steal the key card from the marked location. A wanted level will get triggered upon exiting, which you should lose before returning to the Salvage Yard. If possible, use a helicopter to help speed up the search and provide an easy escape.

With these two Planning Works done, start doing the three mandatory Tasks. They can only be started at the green duffle bag icon's location, and not from the Salvage Yard computer.

Here's a brief description of each:

Rappel Equipment - Break into a hideout, eliminate all guards, and escape with the equipment.
Gas Masks - Head over to a marked fire station, steal gas masks, and escape.
Sabotage Casino - Plant a bomb inside a Diamond Casino restroom. Note that this Task will only become available when inside the casino.

Again, using a helicopter will help in completing all these Tasks quickly.

The GTA Online Podium Robbery finale will begin with you driving the LSDS van to a marked location outside the Diamond Casino and detonating the bomb from your in-game phone.

Then, park the van outside the next marked location, collect the rappel equipment from its rear, and head over to the disposal entrance. Once inside the casino, follow a guard to a spot and briefly engage in a clean-up mini-game. Exit the mini-game as soon as he leaves and access the elevator in the next room.

Now, navigate a pitch-black corridor to reach the Diamond Casino elevator hatch. There will be many CCTVs, so track their movement, be patient, and make your way through to the door.

Keep heading straight into the room and you will find the elevator hatch beyond two or three doors.

In the next section, rappel down the hatch and it can passed quickly by using "perform a long jump" button. Access the keypad at the bottom to unlock the GTA Online Podium Robbery vehicle storage door.

Many guards will be inside, and they will trigger a nerve gas security measure, so equip the gas mask by pressing the prompted button. Disable the gas by accessing a panel at the back of this room and completing this mini-game.

With the gas disabled, steal the GTA Online Podium Robbery vehicle. However, you will have to exit the vehicle and eliminate the guards inside the nearby control room to unlock all the security tunnel exit.

Upon exiting the casino, you will be asked to lose the attained wanted level. The best way to do this is to head inside the storm drain tunnel and wait a few minutes. After that, deliver the vehicle to your Salvage Yard location to complete the finale.

The stolen Salvage Yard Robbery vehicles can be sold or salvaged, but the former option usually pays more. The GTA Online weekly update active at the time of writing has made the GTA Online Podium Robbery vehicle claimable as well.

This vehicle (as of this writing) is the Karin Boor, an off-road car costing $1,280,000. Note that you won't be paid anything for claiming the vehicle.
