The original poster received a call asking them to complete one of the DJ Requests missions from Tom Connors, a staff of The Diamond Casino & Resort. These are free-mode missions that appear once you purchase the Master Penthouse in GTA Online.

While the DJ Requests missions are not the best ways to make money in GTA Online, they unlock special perks related to the casino. Therefore, one should always complete these missions after getting the Penthouse. Otherwise, you will get random call requests from Tom and English Dave. Completing all seven missions rewards you with a free BF Weevil car from the latter.
