Although Rockstar Games is yet to begin pre-orders for GTA 6, Redditor Gariban~ı Rum shared a picture on r/GTA claiming they found someone from Turkey allegedly selling a copy of GTA 6 for the PlayStation 2. The picture accompanying the post shows a disc case featuring the GTA 6 cover art with the PlayStation 2 branding on top.

“In my country we have GTA 7, GTA 8, GTA 9, GTA 10, GTA 16 and all if them are modded GTA Vice City that has 100% completion / new car models / new outfit for Tommy / different hud and turbo in cars and I remember a version in which Tommy can walk on water lol but all of them are for pc”

When might GTA 6 release? Possibilities explored

As of August 2024, Rockstar has yet to announce a definite release date for Grand Theft Auto 6. The official statement from the studio about the game’s release is still 2025. However, Take-Two Interactive, the parent company, narrowed down the release window and revealed that the game would be released in Fall 2025.

Except for this, we have no other information about GTA 6's release. Moreover, fans should note that the aforementioned release window is only applicable to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. There is no word about a PC or old-gen release at the time of writing.

Nonetheless, the entire gaming community is eagerly looking forward to more news from Rockstar, including a new trailer and the fixed release date.
