An X user called dash, who goes by @dash_GTA on the social media site, made a post on December 28, 2024, claiming that GTA Online players can now use custom variants of the Dinka Kanjo SJ and Dinka Postlude in tuner races. While Rockstar constantly tries to improve the GTA Online experience, they mostly refrain from announcing all minor background updates. This might be the reason why this specific change went under the radar until the X post.
This article will look into the supposed changes made to the Dinka Kanjo SJ and Dinka Postlude in GTA Online.
Rockstar continuously works to improve the GTA Online gameplay experience.
On December 28, 2024, dash took to X, claiming that both the Kanjo SJ and the Postlude are now usable in the tuner races. Here, the tuner races imply the Street Race Series accessible from the LS Car Meet.
Players haven’t been allowed to use their personalized/customized variants in tuner races since the release of these vehicles. Keep in mind it’s been two years since both of them have been added to the game. Nevertheless, today’s reported changes suggest that Rockstar is still dedicated to improving the gameplay experience even if the content is years old.
Rockstar Games didn’t release any new GTA Online weekly update this week, making a few features/content inaccessible till next week. This majorly affected the weekly Priority FIB File mission, which can only be completed once per week.

Yesterday, December 27, 2024, a background GTA Online update was reported by insider Tez2. According to their report, Rockstar Games fixed the issues with that mission, allowing players to complete it again and earn a substantial amount of money instead of waiting for the next weekly update. Such an immediate fix further cemented Rockstar's dedication to GTA Online.
The background fix also reportedly disabled the free play period for PlayStation users, once again making the PS Plus subscription mandatory to play the Agents of Sabotage DLC.
A few days after the launch of that DLC, the developers released a major background update that reportedly fixed many in-game issues, including:
- Agency God Mode glitch workaround
- A vehicle engine animation in the FIB Files missions
- A DJ request
- Customizing Terrorbyte while being inside the Darnell Bros Garment Factory
