Christmas-themed GTA Online cars will become claimable likely during Festive Surprise event: Report
As seen in the aforementioned post, Tez2 shared details of a GTA Online update that revealed some interesting information about the upcoming in-game content.
According to their report, two Christmas-themed cars — the Pfister Comet Safari and the Vapid Clique, will likely become claimable during the Festive Surprise event in Los Santos. Keep in mind that only Salvage Yard owners will likely be able to claim them as GTA Online Salvage Yard Robbery vehicles.
Tez2 also revealed that previously claimable cars in Salvage Yard Robbery missions will always remain claimable in the future. Their leak came a day before Rockstar released the last Halloween event in the game.
Fans can expect to know more about the Festive Surprise event soon, likely with the now-confirmed GTA Online Winter DLC 2024.
A brief about the Pfister Comet Safari
The Pfister Comet Safari is a custom two-seater vehicle made for off-road terrains in Grand Theft Auto Online. Debuting in 2017 with The Doomsday Heist DLC update, its design seems to be inspired by a heavily modified version of the 1978-1989 Porsche 911, otherwise known as Leh Keen "Safari" 911.
According to the in-game files, the Comet Safari runs on a flat-6 engine with a 5-speed transmission in an AWD layout. As tested by Broughy1322, the vehicle can reach a maximum speed of 120.00 mph (193.12 km/h) and complete one lap in 1:07.455.
A brief about the Vapid Clique
The Vapid Clique is a vintage two-seater muscle car added to the game in 2018 as part of the Arena War DLC update. It seems to be based on the real-life custom Ford Club Coupe, made by Bruce Leven.
On the performance front, the Clique is powered by a single-cam V8 engine with a 4-speed transmission in an FR layout. According to Broughy1322, the automobile can reach a top speed of 117.50 mph (189.10 km/h) and complete a lap in about 1:06.868 on average.
