Since releasing the GTA 6 trailer 1 last December, Rockstar Games hasn’t shared new details or footage of the upcoming video game so far. Fans have countless expectations from Grand Theft Auto 6, and they are always vocal about it. That’s exactly what happened recently when a popular YouTuber TGG shared their wish to see a Vice City-like feature in the game.

On an X post dated November 11, 2024, TGG posted a still from the GTA 6 trailer 1 and pointed at a possible shopping center in-game:

“ICYMI: A shopping centre was revealed in GTA 6 trailer 1. Hopefully this means we can explore malls like in Vice City!”

The picture that the YouTuber referred to can be seen in the official GTA 6 trailer video on YouTube at the exact 1:00 time stamp. While it’s not been officially confirmed that there will be accessible shopping malls in Grand Theft Auto 6, YouTuber TGG surely hopes to explore them.

GTA 6 fans’ reacted to TGG’s recent post

TGG’s post gained the attention of numerous Grand Theft Auto fans on the X platform. That said, here are a few fan reactions to the post:

The first three of the aforementioned comments seemingly agreed that it would be nice to have more enterable locations in the next Grand Theft Auto game. The last one suggested that some fans never noticed this fact before.

Players should note that Grand Theft Auto Vice City marked the last time they could enter shopping malls, and use escalators. Though Grand Theft Auto 5 also has a couple of shopping malls, including the Rockford Plaza, the interior is not accessible either in the story mode or in the online multiplayer.

The game is still scheduled to be released in the fall of 2025 as recently re-confirmed by Rockstar’s parent company Take-Two Interactive. While the title is officially announced for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles at the moment, a PC port is expected to be released sometime in 2026-2027.
