"An early look at GTA 6's vehicles": The Ubermacht Niobe sports car makes fans suspicious of backporting

Fans are always eager to know what kind of vehicles will be there in GTA 6 and they seem to have an idea about it now. The Ubermacht Niobe, one of the latest cars added to Grand Theft Auto Online as part of the recent Bottom Dollar Bounties DLC, makes some of them wonder if the developer Rockstar Games is backporting stuff from GTA 6.

Reddit user @BoxAfterDark believes that new cars are being backported from the upcoming game as they shared the picture of an Ubermacht Niobe with their thoughts on it. According to them, the vehicle has a super detailed interior, a brand new engine sound, new chimes, and small details on the exterior, making it more detailed than the average car in the popular multiplayer title.

Many other fans also believe that Ubermacht Niobe could be backported from GTA 6. One Reddit user barf_of_dog stated the following:

“The Niobe's exterior model is going to be what we'll see in GTA VI (but with higher quality textures).”

Another fan with the user-id Pir-o said that “it’s been happening for years now.” They think that the popular After Hours DLC, which added the Nightclub property, brought a lot of visual effects and animations from GTA 6.

While Rockstar Games hasn’t confirmed if they are backporting cars or other assets from GTA 6 yet, it won’t be surprising if they are silently doing it as the next game is about to be released in the fall of 2025. Fans can definitely expect to see new cars like Ubermacht Niobe return in the upcoming game.

The Ubermacht Niobe is a two-seater sports coupe primarily inspired by the real-life BMW i8. According to Broughy1322 who tested the vehicle, it can reach a top speed of 127.25 mph (204.79 km/h). However, players can increase the maximum speed of the ride to 159.50 mph (256.69 km/h) by installing HSW Performance Upgrades, making it one of the best HSW cars in GTA Online in 2024.

It can be bought from the Legendary Motorsport website for a price of $1,880,000.
