GTA 5 dominated PS5's download charts in June 2024: Report

Despite being a decade-old game, GTA 5 did the unthinkable by dominating Sony’s current gaming console in terms of downloads. PlayStation recently posted a blog on July 9, 2024, and Grand Theft Auto 5 was the most downloaded game on PS5 in both the EU and the US.

Additionally, the PS4 version of the game also managed to be in the top 5 positions, showing its dominance on Sony’s last-gen platform. Note that most users simply play GTA 5 for its online mode, and it recently got a new Bottom Dollar Bounties DLC on June 25, 2024.
