Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of GTA 6 developer, Rockstar Games, will be having their Q4 2024 earnings call next month. Since the highly anticipated title is set to arrive in 2025, fans expect a clear time frame for its release soon. It should be noted that Rockstar announced the arrival of the sequel's first trailer just before Take-Two's November 2023 earnings call.

Therefore, the anticipation is understandable. As of this writing, it is only known that the game will be released at some point in 2025 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
