The Game Awards 2024 season is here, and GTA 6 is going to be a part of it. As announced earlier today (November 18, 2024) by The Game Awards on X, Grand Theft Auto 6 has been nominated for the “Most Anticipated Game” award for 2024. The news surfaced on the internet quickly, tempting GTA 6 fans to react to it.
Popular Rockstar insider @TezFunz2 (aka Tez2) posted the news on X, and wrote the following, seemingly with a humourous intention:

They seemed to suggest that no other nominee for the “Most Anticipated Game” stood a better chance of winning the award.
Another fan, @KINGJulien15x, agreed with Tez2 by claiming that GTA 6 is "the most obvious winner". Here’s what they wrote:
“The most obvious winner in any category, it’s literally the most anticipated title for more than a decade.”
