Grand Theft Auto fans have been quite disappointed with Rockstar Games' lack of communication regarding GTA 6. They expected the arrival of a new trailer, screenshots, or any other sort of marketing by now, but none of that has taken place thus far. That being said, well-known video game journalist Chris Klippel suggested in a recent X thread that serious things should start regarding Grand Theft Auto 6 in the first quarter of 2025.
He also claimed in the same thread that he received a report about GTA 6's second trailer being almost ready over a month ago, and then again two weeks ago, which, according to him, still leaves a chance for its arrival in 2024. However, he looks at the first quarter of 2025 for when marketing should start.
Note: None of the information has been officially confirmed as of this writing, and, hence, should take all the information with the grain of salt.
Serious things regarding GTA 6 should start in the first quarter of 2025 as per French journalist Chris Klippel
Here is an English translation of Chris Klippel's recent tweets about Grand Theft Auto 6:
"Trailer was ready/almost ready and that the com was activated and that this new (big) communication time was being prepared. But, as I have already been able to tell you in the past, a com' time takes time to prepare and that does not mean that it will fall in 1 hour. I was Reported this over a month ago, then 2 weeks ago. Which still leaves a chance for 2024. In any case, it is in the first quarter of 2025 that serious things should start! Anyway, that's all for me!"
It has been over a year without any new reveals from Rockstar Games regarding its next, highly anticipated title. Officially, there have been no indications so far about when more will be showcased.
However, given that GTA 6's release is planned during Fall 2025 (confirmed by Rockstar's parent company Take-Two Interactive), we can expect more information in the near future.
