Christopher Bellard (aka Young Maylay), the voice actor for CJ from GTA San Andreas, spoke his famous line from the 2004 game — "Ah S**t, here we go again" — on Kai Cenat's recent livestream. It should be noted that the VA wasn't physically present in the stream, but he delivered the line over a phone call. However, Christopher Bellard wasn't the only Grand Theft Auto VA involved in this segment.
Franklin's voice actor from GTA 5, Shawn Fonteno, was there with Kai Cenat during this livestream, and called CJ's voice actor on his phone. For those unaware, Shawn Fonteno and Christopher Bellard/Young Maylay are cousins.
GTA San Andreas CJ voice actor says his iconic line from the game's introductory cutscene on Kai Cenat's livestream
Grand Theft Auto San Andreas's protagonist, Carl "CJ" Johnson, says the line, "Ah S**t, here we go again", right before the title's introductory cutscene comes to an end. Rockstar Games released the game in 2004 for the PlayStation 2, but this line is, notably, still incredibly popular among gamers. In fact, it has become very popular in mainstream meme culture as well.
As can be seen in the clip attached above, Kai Cenat gets to speak to Christopher Bellard after Shawn Fonteno calls him on his phone. The streamer refers to Bellard as CJ during this brief conversation and then requests him to say the line. Bellard then delivers it in almost the exact manner as from the game.
Interestingly enough, before we get to hear the iconic line from CJ's voice actor himself, we also hear Shawn Fonteno say it, which can, in a way, be thought of as Franklin's version. Carl "CJ" Johnson and Franklin Clinton are two of the most popular protagonists from the Grand Theft Auto franchise, and this segment of the livestream seemed to be a pretty fun moment for fans.
Rockstar Games released a new GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition update on November 12, 2024, that fixed quite a few issues, rendering San Andreas' official remaster a bit more enjoyable than it was before.
