Rocket jump is the ability to get thrown in the air by firing a rocket missile straight to the ground. While Rockstar Games did not add it to the official version of the game, you can now do it using the mod.

On January 12, 2024, an X profile named @TheNathanNS shared the GTA San Andreas modded video on their profile. In the video, the character (most likely Carl “CJ” Johnson) was seen using a Rocket Launcher to launch himself into the air. Upon landing, CJ fired another rocket that threw him to a different location.
Usually, when you fire a Rocket Launcher near you, the in-game character immediately dies from the impact. However, the mod launches him into the air, defying Rockstar Games’ physics. The following video is a demonstration of how the feature works in Half-Life 2.
