Fans have seen a lot of alleged GTA 6 leaks in the past couple of years. While some were legit, like the 2022 leak incident, most of them were proven to be fake. A couple of days ago, Reddit user Pebblestar_ claimed that they had seen gameplay footage from the 2024 build of the upcoming Grand Theft Auto title.
While that post has since been deleted, Pebblestar_ returned with a new Reddit post on January 7, 2025, sharing details about the game's alleged mechanics, including information about vehicle physics, clothing, and more.
Reported GTA 6 gameplay details: Realistic physics, damageable properties, and more
In their latest post, Pebblestar_ reiterated their previous claim of having seen GTA 6 gameplay. Here’s a rundown of some of the information they shared:
1) Vehicle Physics:
According to Pebblestar_, GTA 6 will feature more realistic vehicle and crash physics. Each car will reportedly behave differently, depending on its type and any upgrades applied. For instance, if a vehicle carries extra weight in the form of armor, passengers, or even bodies in the trunk, the back end of the car will sink down to reflect the added load.
The crash physics are also said to be much more detailed, resembling those found in crash simulation games. Parts of a vehicle could apparently even fall off if damaged enough, including headlights, rear lights, trunk, mirrors, and bonnets.
2) Weapon:
According to Pebblestar_, players will have access to multiple weapon inventories in Grand Theft Auto 6.
One weapon wheel will reportedly be available when on foot, allowing players to carry a handgun, rifle, knife, or a backpack full of grenades and explosives. Another wheel will apparently provide access to various weapons and attachments, such as grenade launchers, silencers, and laser pointers, as well as clothing.
3) Buildings:
Pebblestar_ also reported that approximately 40% of the buildings in GTA 6 will be enterable, including large hotels, skyscrapers, banks, and shopping malls. According to them, players will even be able to blow out doors or windows to gain entry to these structures.
4) Gore level
Pebblestar_ has claimed that the level of gore in Grand Theft Auto 6 will be on par with Red Dead Redemption 2.
Readers are encouraged to take these claims with caution, as they have not been officially confirmed. Official details about GTA 6 are expected to be released by Rockstar Games in the near future.
