Several fan theories predicting a potential release date for GTA 6 trailer 2 surfaced online throughout 2024, most by the end of the year, but none ended up being correct. Nevertheless, a few more have been put forward in the first month of 2025 itself. One of them, by X user @jericho681, takes the current number of Rockstar Games' Instagram posts into account, much like the recent December 27 trailer 2 release theory.
Rockstar usually posts on social media on Tuesdays and sometimes Fridays. And since January 14 and February 14 fall on a Tuesday and Friday, respectively, this theory likely suggests that news related to the next Grand Theft Auto might arrive on one of those dates.
Another new theory takes the Declasse Tulip put on sale this week in GTA Online as a possible hint.
This is likely because it resembles the car that Lucia and her partner (allegedly named Jason) use in Grand Theft Auto 6's first trailer.
Note - Readers should take such fan theories with a grain of salt, and only trust information coming directly from Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.
New GTA 6 trailer 2 theories surface online, but most fans don't seem interested
While such fan theories used to generate a lot of interest in the Grand Theft Auto fanbase, the bad track record seems to have made players skeptical about these things.
Even the comments regarding the Declasse Tulip at Simeon's Premium Deluxe Motorsport Showroom being a possible GTA 6 teaser in GTA Online seem to be on a lighter note.
Nevertheless, it should be noted that there are fans who do seem to believe that the Declasse Tulip resembling the car from the first trailer might be a subtle nod at the upcoming title.
The car will be on sale at the showroom in Grand Theft Auto Online through January 8, 2025, and will be replaced after that. Since it is one of the cars that were removed back in June 2023, players won't be able to purchase it from any in-game websites. Therefore, those interested in getting it should buy it quickly.
