A brand new GTA Online update was released in the background earlier today, July 2, 2024, that fixed various bugs and glitches plaguing the game since the launch of Bottom Dollar Bounties. While the DLC added tons of new content to Los Santos, it also brought some issues that the developers aimed to fix with today’s update. One of the major things it fixes is related to the popular Cayo Perico Heist and the new Stun Rod weapon.
GTA Online update of July 2, 2024: List of things it fixes or patches
As per a report on X by popular insider Tez2, the new GTA Online update is all about fixing a couple of bugs or glitches before the next weekly update. Here’s a list of things it does effective from today onwards:
- It enhances the Dispatch Work variety, allowing players to experience new mission types instead of repeating the same ones over and over.
- It fixes an issue in The Cayo Perico Heist that used to prevent players from earning loot from paintings during the heist.
- It fixes an issue related to Tattoos where they used to overlap between characters upon switching between them.
- It also takes care of the delivery cutscene of the bike shop deliveries which sometimes shows a Hermes instead of a customer’s bike.
- The new GTA Online update also removes an issue that used to incorrectly position the Bail Office entrances/blue markers.
- It patches a glitch in the game with the help of which players used to unlock the new Stun Rod (The Shocker) early via modded jobs.
- It also patches a glitch with the help of which players used to early access the unreleased Ludendorff Cemetery Survivals.
- Additionally, it patches clothing glitches’ workaround used to help players merge both masks and hats/helmets. This includes the popular Telescope glitch.
- This new GTA Online update also patches a workaround for the Avenger Vehicle God Mode glitch.
While there might still be some working GTA Online money glitches available, Rockstar Games always tries to patch them as soon as possible.
