Reputed Rockstar Games insider and data miner, Tez2, has reported that a new GTA Online update (patch) went live for PC a few hours ago (from this writing). Although the multiplayer has been incredibly popular for 11 years, with a brand new DLC for it being released today, December 10, 2024, it hasn't been free from problems like bugs, glitches, and crashes, especially on PC.
In the past, Tez2 has often reported correct details about Rockstar titles, especially Grand Theft Auto, ahead of official announcements. However, since Rockstar Games hasn't confirmed this reported update or released patch notes yet, readers are advised to take the claim with a grain of salt.

Tez2 suggests that this reported GTA Online update for PC should fix crashes. No further details have been provided on it so far, but if a patch has actually been released, then we can expect Rockstar Games to release notes in some time.
As mentioned previously, Rockstar also released a brand new DLC for the title, named Agents of Sabotage, today. It has added a brand new purchasable property, the Darnell Bros Garment Factory, featuring some exciting missions. What's more, it has fresh vehicles, like the Bravado Banshee GTS, and Dinka Jester RR Widebody, as well as new upgrades for the Benefactor Terrorbyte.
GTA Online Agents of Sabotage is available on all platforms, that is PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and also on PC. Thus, if this reportedly released patch does fix crashes, those on PC should have a better experience of all the newly added content.
It is interesting to note that Rockstar has dropped quite a few GTA Online PC updates/patches this year. Two were released in October 2024, with one of them fixing an issue that prevented players on the platform from claiming Salvage Yard Robbery Vehicles. The other implemented a few general fixes regarding stability and security.
